I hope I don't end up losing by 1-game for being a WVU homer in the Fiesta Bowl. :)

If I lose by one game because I picked OU to win, I am more than ok with that.

Texas won, and both OU and A&M lost. A Horns fan couldn't ask for a better outcome to the bowl season. :D

Well the stomach flu might have kept me out for two days, but I have finally tallied the results for the 2nd Annual ITB Bowl Bonanza. In the Bloggers category we had to go down to a tiebreaker since both Kansas It’s Business time and ITB Charlie Swager both finished with a 25-7 record. Kansas It’s Business Time said that the total score of the BCS title game would be 33 points while ITB Charlie Swager predicted 45 points, so Charlie wins the tiebreaker and the overall title since, as you will see, he had a better record than the readers.

In the reader category we also had to go to the tiebreaker between Greg Gowins and Pete Boivin who both finished with a 23-9 record. Unfortunately for Greg he didn’t fill out tiebreaker points so Pete wins by default. Thanks to everyone who participated and congratulations to the winners. I will be in contact with you about your prizes.

Excellent! Looks like being a homer and picking WVU did make a difference, but in a good way. :)

Looks like despite the fact that Big Ten boys might not play all that well in the Bowl games, we sure know how to pick 'em!

I'll send the PM. Thanks again for the invite.

Your Reader Category Champion is from here. :) You can just refer to me as "Champ" from now on. That's cool.

Cartman can be Lil' Champ. Or just, Lil' C. I'm cool with that.

I'm not saying I sent it and you didn't get it. What I'm saying is I filled it out twice, once on my desktop and once on my laptop. I sent in the one that I didn't enter the tiebreaker on, obviously.

If I didn't go against my better judgment and did the homer UCLA pick, I would have tied for first in the reader category.

I'm Matt Kieta on that list (and everywhere else).

I went back to look at the scores after they played and wondered why I picked UCLA because BYU had clearly the better record. It might have been a subconscious thing.. dunno

I sent this as a PM to the winners who got the book, but I know there are quite a few other college football fans out there...

Sometime tonight I am going to be interviewing Bruce Feldman from ESPN.com and the writer of the book Meat Market. He is coming on the show to talk about his book and recruiting so if there are any questions anyone has that I could ask him...feel free to post them here or PM them to me.

Thanks!
