No one is responding to my post in this forum, and it seems pretty dead in the online forum here, so where's the best place to go if I want to join an online league?

IHOF seems to be letting anyone in their league now, so make sure you check that one out.

Molar, Subby and sov are just messin' with you. The forum you posted in is the best clearinghouse there is, and your post was only three days ago. Odds are that there are no openings in leagues right now. That forum is the first place most of them go when they need new owners.

Whenever a league hits the offseason and has openings, they post in there. Usually it works opposite from the way you expect: when a league has openings, they'll post them and where to go to join, and then you go to that league's site and follow their instructions for joining.

what better...posting in one forum that most leagues check when they need new owners, or posting on league forums of 20ish different leagues?

to be honest, you set some pretty strict requirements. you not only want a league that's a year or two into it's existence, but you also requested a specific team. if you want in a league - period - i see some openings in that thread.

Good point, HA. I didn't read the actual post before I responded, just checked the date. I suspect that there are no more than 2 (if there are any at all) real-player MP leagues that are only 1 or 2 years in. Odds are the specific situation he's looking for just doesn't exist.

I guess I'm just spoiled over at OOTP then. I'm new to this game but a veteran over at OOTP forums and there seem to be new leagues starting every week or so and there's always an opening for a spot you want. I've never had a problem finding a league I was looking for over there.
I would start one but I don't think I have enough time or know enough about the game to start one yet. Would it be best to start a thread about it and see how many people are interested and maybe one of them will want to run it?

My bad - I thought he was looking for a list of available on-line leagues. No shenanigans intended (for once.)

IWould it be best to start a thread about it and see how many people are interested and maybe one of them will want to run it?Yeah. That forum is probably the best starting place for a new league.

the game was released a couple years ago, we're at the point where most everyone who's interested in being in a MP league is already in one. point being at this point it'd be kinda hard to find enough people who either aren't in a league and willing to take a chance on a league that isn't established (these "startups" tend to fold quickly sometimes) or people already in a league and are looking to add another league to their plate. your best bet is to browse which leagues have an opening, check our their website, view their forums. see which ones have a lot of posts and daily discussion - those are the best. the ones where you get like one or two posts per day, well, it doesn't feel any different than playing a solo career.
but hey, you could get lucky, it doesn't cost anything to start a thread to see if anyone is interested in starting a new league.
