I've noticed lately 2 of my buddies are dating older women (one is 6 years older, and another is 9). I thought it was just a "Hollywood" thing, but I guess not. Is it a sign of changing times?

Are they hot? Age knows no bounds when the chick is hot my friend. Salma Hayek is over ten years older then me and I would bang her 100 times in a weekend if I could.

I think there is a point where it just doesn't matter. 10 years is no big deal anymore when it is 25 & 35 or 35 & 45 as I think more than ever people don't always look their age due to healthier lifestyles.

Actually 15 & 25 really doesn't matter anymore either to about 15% of teachers here in Arizona it seems.

Just remember to seek Medical attention if your hard on lasts more than 4 hours.

I agree...the difference between 18 and 28 is huge, but the difference between 38 and 48 isn't all that big of a deal. I think it depends on the people too - if you have an immature older guy and a woman who is a little mature for her age then it could definitely work out.

guys with mommy issues are better off with older women...just like girls with daddy issues tend to seek out older men.

He decided he liked older men?

My wife's 9 years older than I am. For the most part I've always dated older women, including a 47-year old when I was 20 (THAT was a lot of fun, actually).

When I was 23 and she was 32 it was great. Honestly, now that I'm 33 and she's 42 I kind of worry about her sex drive decreasing before mine does.

And no, I didn't have any "mommy issues" when I got married. I didn't like to date flaky girls, and most people in their 20's are somewhat flaky. My wife was one of the smartest, most level-headed people I'd ever met, which is one of the big reasons I fell in love with her.

Her exceptional rack didn't hurt either. :p

That would be one of the concerns I have, the sex drive and apperance. With men, it doesn't matter too much thanks to the little blue pill.

With apperances, I don't think it matters too much due to the ability to live a good lifestyle, surgery and medicine (the potential that is in the pipelines and being studied for anti-aging medicine is very promising).

It's just one of those things that started happening and it's stayed that way ever since, though I will say in the last year or two, I've been shifting more towards the still younger, but closer to my age dynamic because of all the bull that comes with college girls.

I honestly find high school girls more mature than college girls overall, but I think it's the whole security vs uncertainty in independence thing.

Years ago, someone once told me that women don't figure out who they are and get sorted out until about 25.

I've come to believe that.

Sort of with Cam on this. I have had relationships with women that were 10 years younger, 5 years younger, 5 years older and 15 years older, apart from the ones that were about the same age (like my wife). I liked the older ones the best, except for my wife as I have found that sex does gets better with age. To not gross out the youngsters here, it will come a time when that won't be true...

The grand irony of this is, I'm presently smitten with a woman who's 34 (I'm 28). I don't dare tell her about it, though.

As long as she's not married or in a serious relationship, why not? The 25 and under female crowd today is a big pain the ass.

Without exception, I dated girls who were younger than me. My immaturity pretty much guaranteed that girls my age would not be interested. :)

I've always looked exceptionally young for my age, so I've never had any luck with women older than me. It sucked when I was 20 and all my friends could get served and I'd get laughed at. Now that I'm 37 it's great to look young (most people guess I'm in my late 20s), but I'm married so it's not really much use.
But now I really believe success with women really just boils down to having your own place and wearing nice shirts.

Not sure what relationship you're referring to. In the case of the 47-year old when I was 20, yes. Not only did my mother freak out, but her 23-year old son gave her a hard time as well. That's actually what ended up being the breaking point for the relationship. By the time she decided she didn't care what her son thought, I had moved on and was dating someone else.

When it came to my wife, my mother was again a little upset, but not because of the age. It was more the fact that my wife had two kids from a previous marriage that bothered her. After a couple of years she warmed up and now I think she probably likes my wife better than me. :)
