Which mod did you guys pick? The best way to play NWN is with people you know on a great mod that no one has explored before. You guys will probably have a great time. :)

I'm running Pool of Radiance Special Edition.. Unfortunately, SkyDog's having problems connecting. :/

I was going to go for a test run before next thursday's game

Ah.. there we go.. it was a Port Forwarding issue, if somebody, ANYBODY with NWN would log on, I'd appreciate it

I still don't see yours on the list of servers, and direct connect gives me a timeout. oh, well.

*chuckles* well, whatever it was, is now fixed

It's called Pools of Radiance SE, it's an open server, up to six folks on it :)

Same problem here. Can't find it on the list and when I try direct connect, it times out.

That's because I took it down overnight, sorry, forgot to post, I did run it for three people simultaneously, so we should be good to go for Thursday's game :)

Sounds good. Can you join partway through an adventure? I ask because again, I am at the whim of the flag football referees and the weather. :)

I might be able to join, but can't commit yet and don't want to block out anyone else.

I'd like to play. I've never played online before (just traded for the game last week). Can you give a few pointers on how multiplay works?

Sure.. Basically, you can either create a new character (which I recommend, there will be a place where you can get outfitted/all that), or import a character from your local game (not all servers allow this). You log into the server, and you can chat with all the other players (there are tell/shout/whisper commands)..

You log in by choosing Multiplayer, join Internet/LAN game, and log into the server (details on server name and all that will be posted Tommorrow night, the server will go live Thursday, the game will begin later that night).

Oh.. and there's an invisible DM (or on some servers, MULTIPLE DM'S) running around, making sure everything is ok, adding additional encounters if the party is having things too easy, and handling all the detail work to make the party sweat :)

Ok.. the server will go live tonight: The sign on will be as in my last post above, the Server name will be: "FOFC NWN Server", and the password will be FOFC. Please expect the server to go live at 9:45 PM.

Please stay in the city for the first fifteen minutes or so, so we can party up, ok? :) Thanks

Fritz's it's in the Gamespy Arcade, and KWhit was online for about fifteen minutes, it's up :)

I played one in the "out of box" game and was very happy with it as I gained some levels.
