When I looked at the box score for last night's Oilers-Islanders NHL game:
http://www2.nhl.com/nhl/app?service=page&page=Boxscore&gameNumber=625&season=20072008&gameType=2

and tried to connect the four goals to each other by someone that assisted on the goal... so for example, Hemsky connects the first two. Stoll connects the last two, and Horcoff connects the second and fourth.

01:11 Ales Hemsky, Assists: Tom Gilbert and Joni Pitkanen
06:31 Shawn Horcoff, Assists: Ales Hemsky and Dustin Penner
11:22 Marty Reasoner, Assists: Jarret Stoll and Tom Gilbert
16:09 PPG - Jarret Stoll, Assists: Shawn Horcoff and Dustin Penner

There has to be a name for this kind of crap.

The Leafs haven't scored four goals in a game since 1994, so I don't know.

Was it Dougie Gilmour and Wendy Clark, and two from Nikki Borechevsky?

You'd have plenty of sample-data with the opponent's scores though...

What about when you refresh the NHL.com gamesheet, see the other team has scored four more goals since the last time you looked, and immediately check the "players on ice" column to see who shows up the most?

Also, is it weird if you see the number 31 listed every time and yell "pavel ku-bingo"?

I'm a Devils fan, so I'm not used to seeing four goals in a game combined.

Is it weird if every time you hear or read the word "Borechevsky" you mutter "Fuck Nikolai Borechevsky" under your breath?
