I'm curious on how a FL mentor effects a rookie SE. This is just an example i'm really curious about all such situations. Does anyone know?

It's by position group. He's a mentor to "wide receivers," not flankers.

More generally, the player card of the mentor tells you exactly to what group of players the mentorship applies. On a flanker, it will say "wide receivers," on a left tackle, it will say "tackles," and so forth.

(Just hoping to eliminate any confusion about what "position group" means)
