Wahoo! I always put it off because I hate going and generally hate the whole experience, but I love when I just had a haircut! YAY!

And yes, my Sport Clips knew exactly how to cut my hair when I sat down. They read it off of the print-out from my computer entry.

I got my haircut yesterday at Cost Cutters and they did their usual terrible job. I also dread haircuts even though I only get 6 a year. I moved a few years ago and in my old town I went to a barber who I knew pretty well so the small talk wasn't as awkward.

I cut mine this afternoon. I keep mine in a buzz cut and use the bear trimmer attachment on my cheap Norelco trimmer at the closest setting to keep it cut short. I cut it every weekend.

Just find someone you like at one of these SportsNips, Cost Cutters or Supercuts. Then just ask for them everytime. You can have it all. A good looking haircutter than only speaks when spoken to. They are out there.

I planned to get a haircut today. But I can generally only get one if I go to Cheyenne (where I work) since there aren't any professional barbers in town that I trust to cut my hair. But the interstate is closed on the way back home, so...I'm working from home today and thus, no haircut.

I can't imagine what it is like to go get your hair cut by someone. I think I have done it 2 or 3 times in my life, as a kid, and I remember it was for a flat top. Otherwise my father did it, and once he was gone I did it myself. Still do it myself though sometimes Loren will help.

Just got my haircut today...it had gotten way too long. I was a damn hippy. Overall she did a good job, but she was a talker. Not good. She also pushed the hair products pretty hard, also not good. I'm happy with the cut though...I'm never quite sure how things are going to turn out when I go to Great Clips. I've literally gotten a hair cut so bad there that I've worn a hat for two weeks until my hair had a chance to grow back.

You make a good point and I'm willing to pay more than $12 for a haircut. I'm just not sure where to go. I know there are a lot of salons out there, but are they really a lot better or just more expensive? Can you just walk in or do you have to make an appointment?

Well, it's been awhile since my hair has been falling out for about 15 years now and I either buzz or shave it, but generally you can walk into many salons and get a better haircut than at the cheap chains. Ask around for recommendations, especially if you have any gay friends.

I was shaving my head at least once per week for the last 10+ years. I have not done that in about 6 months, so my wife has been cutting my hair and YIKES!!! Even she said I should go somewhere and get it done. She also made the comments about getting some hot chick to cut my hair and I will always be going to get it done. Got a haircut and it's slightly different than what I usually get, as I have bangs now. I don't think the hairdresser was used to working with people with wavy hair because she botched them up pretty good.. she used the wrong brush, then tried to fix them by blow drying then straigtening them and they were a complete disaster. After about 20 minutes, I just told her to leave them alone.

I don't know what possessed me to get 'em, as I hadn't had bangs since I was in highschool but they don't look half bad. I'm thinking of buying temporary hair coloring styling gel just to do something different.
