Question - is cohesion calculated on every play based on the players in the game or is it a constant that is only calculated periodically (i.e. start of the game, or start of the season) and then used for all calculations until the next recalculation?

Anyone know the answer to this? I would hope it is based on the personnel in on a play, but thought it was worth verifying.

Thanks,

Nogram.

I don't think that the game documentation says anything about this (at this level of specificity) -- the only in-game indicator we get of cohesion seems fairly static week-to-week. My best guess is that it's a unit-wide calculation made based on the personnel who are on the roster (and possibly who is in a "starting" role) rather that being recalculated on every play for every substitution. But that's a hunch, not at all definitive.

I don't have a single clue how one would be able to test for this. I think the only source for a real answer would be support, and my best guess is that the answer is unlikely to be forthcoming.

Same here. No real answer. Although my experience is that it is based on starters. I have altered starters and then noticed cohesion go down. So, at least the potential is there for it to fluctuate during game due to personnel; but I doubt that is the case. My guess is that it is recalculated at each game start based on starters in depth chart, and that single calculation is for the whole game.
