Figured this would be a cool thread to do. Doesn't have to be elite players or anything, my team just happens to be the best in the world, in my game's universe.

I happen to play a formation with just a lone striker up front. I had two superb strikers and couldn't decide who to keep. Here is the one I traded away

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c60/MrBug708/FM%20Pictures/Huguet.jpg

This is the one whose on my team currently. I probably should have stuck with the French kid because my main reasoning was age but as you can see that was kind of a stupid reason

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c60/MrBug708/FM%20Pictures/Barbosa.jpg

Here is a kid I found who might end up being a star for me and I might trade the above striker and go with this kid for the next 9 seasons.

Here is a shot of my greatest 11. There are some awesome memories with these guys and they are all from my tenure as coach. Micro was here when I took over as a 26 (I think?) year old Italian keeper and was a brick wall for me. Andy Howarth is my longtime captain as well as the English team captain and has been on my team for close to a decade currently. Braga was a talened Brazillian who was arguably one of the greatest LWB of all time. I let him go before he was past his prime because I could get some good money for him. Javier Sanchez came to my squad as one of the best DC in the world during his time. The Mexican DC was second to none at the DC and was one of the top defenders in the game. He's probably the second best player talent wise on this list. Ronald de Boer came to my team as more of a depth player and ended up being better then I imagined. Most of his starts came as the DMC but obviously they thought he was better suited at the DC. Saykouk is the best story out of this group. My first year I took over, I needed some depth at the AMC spot and looked for a player to loan for the season. Saw this kid (23 at the time?) available and he came to me via loan. Due to injuries to other players in his loan season, he ended up playing quite often and I had great success. At the end of the season he was offered to me for his value (which was low) and I bit on it. The Moroccan national ended up as one of the greatest players in Premier League history for me. The French AMC/R Robert split time between the wing and the attacking mid spot for me and when more talented players came to the squad at AMC, would move over and command the right wing. Lehmann came over with the intent on being the left side sub at both the WB and ML and ended up dominating at the ML for much of his career. I'd say he was the third most talented player on my squad regardless of time period. Set a CP assist record with 25 in a season which for this German, was an incredible amount. The Portuguese Loureiro has now reached past his prime for my squad. He was not always a starter at the AMC for a lot of his career but managed to play a lot due to other injuries. Ended up starting later in his career and his season at 32 was probably one of his best as he finished with 10 goals, 7 assists, and a CP record rating of 7.71. German born Rosenthal is probably my least attached player on the starting 5 list. He played mostly at DMC (due to being my biggest weakness IMO) but also could play anywhere on the right or back on the defense line. The Brazillian Aurelio and his 313 goals need very little introduction. Probably the fourth best talent on my squad and had one season where he played very little due to a long injury.

On the reserves side, Hutchings makes it mostly because he was a stopgag between Micro and my current GK. The Englishman was talented, but not quite a worldclass GK. I wanted to keep him but he was very moody and left via the Bosman ruling. Phil Shaw is the most talented player on this list and it's a shame he isn't on the starting squad. He was the captain before Howarth took over many years back. Always was the first man on the lineup. Andy Jarvis is basically Phil Shaw lite and plays the same style. he also basically replaced Shaw in my lineup. He's also a mainstay on the English National team. Looking back, Raul Dominguez had the best attributes but for some reason, the Mexican never quite found a place in my heart. It probably was a mistake selling him when he was just 27, but I wanted my homegrown talent, Jon Mitchell, to take over the starting spot at MR. Finally, the Italian, Fabien Souiller, rounds out the list on the squad. He was the top flight DC that took over basically for Sanchez. Not quite as good as Sanchez, but was an elite defender all the same.

I mostly play out the offseason and quick sim a lot of the regular season. I also didn't start until the early 20's as well. I wanted some history to play with

My Assman doesnt think Giacobazzi deserves to start as he has Jarvis at his spot with Salcedo at the ML and another guy at the WBL spot but I like this lineup better. I'm actually thinking of trading Giacobazzi to get the funds to grab a stud, stud, stud DMC as that is my weakest spot. But they are asking a hefty 196 million for him and that's a lot of money

If you don't mind, I may throw some of my own game shots up in here. The mighty Wee Rovers in all their glory, who have gone from SD3 to SPL, and shocked the world by going past the group stage of the Euro Cup.

Ok, so I noticed you have a player making $190,000 a week. My whole team gets paid about $50,000 right now. These are my top two strikers. Drooduin is about to enter his 3rd year with me, which is a big surprise. He wouldn't sign a new deal with me until the very last second. McGowan was the same, but signed a new deal earlier, about March. McGowan has been with me for a season and a half, but was on loan with me 6 years ago and helped get me promoted from SD2 to SD1 with 40 goals in 35 league matches. The problem is I signed a couple guys thinking I would be losing these two, so now I am overstocked at striker. These are my two highest paid players though, and glad to have them back....

Wow! I just realized how frickin awesome this facegen stuff is! I am still in my third season, so I've seen only a few facegen regens, so I didn't really understand how much depth and clarity it has.

wait till i get home and post some screenshots of my current season.

My stud-striker (not the 21 year old, but the 27 year old) has something like ~40 goals in 20 appearances.

can't make my pic as big as bug's for whatever dumb reason (i'm internet photo posting stupid), but there it is.

39 appearances, 56 goals

7 more goals and he breaks the Serie A record. He's already broken the all-time world record for goals in a season i'd assume (at least as far as Europe is concerned I know)

I've had strikers fly off to great starts, but never anybody who managed to keep up the scoring rate for a whole season. Is he playing up front on his own, or with a partner?

Not quite the record for goals in a season, I know that Dixie Dean scored 60 league goals in 39 games for Everton back in the 1920's, not sure if that's the highest or not though.

edit - from the Dixie Dean wiki page - "He was also known as a very professional player, having never been booked or sent off throughout his entire career despite suffering rough treatment and provocation from opponents (indeed Dean lost a testicle in one tackle)"

he's playing with a partner. A stud 22 y/o with 32 goals in 31 appearances. And he still has a way to go to finish off the season
