I have question...
Would Changing a City Affiliation and Team Nickname right after the draft hurt the files at all?

I'm pretty sure the only thing stored is team id, and team names are only loaded when you start up. Except maybe in the case of box scores and logs.
I open up my IHOF league with the FOFL cities/nicknames all the time (JUST SAY NO TO BATCH FILES!)

Ok, reason being, we just started our league, and I saved a team for a owner, and he signed up registered for a different team name, and forgot to tell me. We are in the process of the preference draft and I figured wait until after the draft, change the team name to the new owners preference, and upload the universe file for the owners.

City Affiliation is actually pretty daunting once the league has started. You can change the nickname, but the best way to handle the city is to rename the one the team is in, rather than trying to "move" the team.

Thats what I meant...changing the city name by renaming it.

Not to speak for cuervo or anything, but in my case it's just irritation that they even have to exist. I'll never understand that decision.

I feel the same way...also with Universe files...it's been a painful week for me with those.

At least the commish has control of all depth charts and gameplans now - that was a nice recent implementation by Jim.
