Looks to me like you lose the tiebreaker with Cagliari because you have a worse goal differential. Or do Italian league rules go by goals scored?

I'm pretty sure that the Italian leagues use head-to-head record as the first tiebreaker at the end of the season. How did Taranto do against Cagliari during the season?

edit - also how did you get the table printed out like that? Is that something within the game that I missed?

Looks like in real life for Serie B (which I'm guessing that is), there's a playoff between 18th and 19th for the relegation spot unless there is a gap of more than 6 points. So did you end the season with a playoff against Cagliari?

The rules, according to in game, were that the better division record would win in case of a draw so at some point in the second game, knowing this, I played for the draw. Needless I was shocked when we got relegated and not so shocked when I then got sacked. Sucks though.

It was an option in the print screen.

we did playout where we tied but I shouldve won due to higher rank in the league then.

You have more wins which puts you higher based on wins but your points are the same which the tiebreaker should be Goal Differential.

When it says better record, it means points, not who has more wins or less losses

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, then I couldnt get a decent job eventhough I promoted the team twice in Italy. finally I got offered a LL job. Shows that what I thought I did was a good job maybe wasn't that good in the grand scheme of things.
