Well my precious little baby girl was born Saturday night (02/16/2008) @ 9:24 PM EST. She was 8 pounds 3 ounces and 18.5 inches... unfortunately we were only home for about 8 hours before we had to get back to the hospital 'cause she was dehydrated but after an IV drip for 12 ours and several (to many IMO) test we were again discharged today - everything is now just perfect and it's real nice to get my wife and daughter in a comfortable environment!
Here is a pic of my beautiful Clara ;)

As a father of three daughters, there is nothing I have ever come across that compares to being called daddy by one's little girl... congratulations!!!

She really is beautiful!
Great choice of name, too: classic without being dated.
Congrats on the birth of your beautiful daughter.

Here's what you have to look forward to in a year............
Calm before the storm:

Congrats. If you're like me you'll spend the next few years trying to find ways to avoid taking her into a public men's room. I'd go to almost any lengths to change her at home or have her mother take her to the women's room.

I'd change my daughter in the men's room in a heartbeat. The changing table in the women's bathrooms are often a germ disaster because most women do the changing. The changing stations in the men's bathroom seldom are used and are usually pretty clean.

I know it doesn't make a lot of sense, but between the piss on the floor, the general odor and the fact that I'm exposing my little girl to a bunch of pissing and shitting men, I'll go to great lengths to keep her out of the men's room. I didn't mind changing her, but I hated having to do it in a public men's room.
And I don't know what I'll do now that she's potty trained.

Our daughter is now almost four weeks old, and she's still the most perfect thing I've ever seen. :) Congratulations!

Congratulations.
My little girl is almost 14 months. She's at the age where she gets excited when I get home from work, toddling to the door yelling "dad". Good times.
