...you feel like playing an older game, you cannot find the discs, tear through every box in the closet...and still not find the damn thing?

So much for breaking out Planescape: Torment today.

Hmm...I was just thinking about playing that game again the other week. Absolute classic.

This may not help you, but if I remember correctly, Planescape: Torment is on GameTap. Of course, you'd need to be subscribed to GameTap...

Amazingly, I actually found the damn MANUAL for the game though.

Yes. I was looking for Wizardry 8 a few months ago, and I can't find my disks anywhere.

My problem is that I lose the cases or whatever has the damn keycode for installation. That's just as bad as losing the disks themselves. Sometimes, I uninstall something to save hard drive space or I want to install on a new computer, and I can't install the game because I've misplaced the code. I know that's my fault, but it's still painful.

Being a packrat has it's advantages sometimes I guess. ;)

I keep a little text file on my computer where I copy down all the keys for programs as I'm installing them. All my OOTP and FOF licenses are in there as well. Very handy.

Oh believe me, I am. Hell, I came across Doom 2 while I was looking. :)

I'm wondering if I loaned out the game to someone years and years ago and never got it back. Either that, or it just didn't survive one of the several moves I've made since I last played it eons ago.

Ah well. I, ahem, found another copy. Hopefully it works.

That one is a pain to replace also, I'd do it quickly if you plan on it because the price keeps on getting jacked up on that one.

I actually have two copies of Planescape Torment laying around, same thing with the Fallouts, Grim Fandango, and Baldur's Gate 2. No real reason other than impatience, I forgot them back in Kansas when I moved out to Utah and decided to just buy new rather than wait until I could go get them. :)

I thought I remembered reading about a mod that let you pump up the resolution on Planescape? Anyone know about this? Love the game but man it's a bit tough to look at anymore.

I was looking for Gabriel Knight 2 the other day and seem to have lost that. I have so many old ones I've lost, would love to play them again.

Everywhere I looked for it, it was about 70-75 dollars. I liked the game, but not enough to justify paying 40-50 more than when I first purchased it.
