I am going away for a week, so survivor is going to have to take a bit of a break. But before I do, I want to set up the next challenge. With march maddness coming up, all you need to do is pick the winners of the first round of the tournament. Post your picks here NO EDITING POSTS IS ALLOWED. If you wish to change your picks you can delete your previous choice, and then repost the entire corrected list. Your entries must be sorted by region (east, west, midwest, south). These must be posted by the 19th of March, so you have plenty of time to research your info.
Scoring: for each correct answer you will recieve the number of points equvalent to the team's seed. i.e. if the #1 team beats the #16 team and you picked them to win you wil earn 1 point. If you pick the #12 team, and they pull off the upset you will have 12 points.
The team with the highest number of points will have immunity.
I leave tomorrow night, and I will not be back in Penang until the 22nd, so ask any questions that you may have right away.
McSweeny will sit this game out for the Dolas

Everyone was to have their posts in by the end of the day on the 19. That means that Marmel and Kodos' posts were too late. I also recieved an email from Ardent that I will post here once I return. So immunity comes down to who does better, Ardent or John Galt

Hey, it was late at night on the 19th!
Marmel

Dola....
The time stamp was 12:09. In most of the US that is still the 19th.

And if you were in another part of the US I would have allowed it, but you are in CT.

ah damn, way to read the instructions radii :/ I was going to have them in by noon today for the start of the tournament, whoops. (I assume that's what most of us were doing)

Don't worry Marmel - my picks suck.
Kodos

I think it is safe to say their was a ton of ineptness in both tribes for this challenge.
Oh, and my picks suck ass.

My plan was to submit my picks the last evening that we can. I had noticed that nobody had posted yet. And then John did, and I watched and waited. when I saw the thread fall to page two I figured I was OK to just post before I went to bed at night. I didn't expect to get disqualified for being 8 minutes late when no firm time had been set. I figured if it was just John and I, my tribe had a better chance than a random number of people seeing this thread and entering their picks during the day.

You mean I missed on that one? Dang it! I was looking for the easy 16 pointer. I didn't think anyone stood a chance against the IUPUI defense. :)
Guess I'll have to pin my hopes on the play in, whoever the heck that was. ;)

This game isn't even close, by a final score of 129-58 Dean Houston crushes the dolamites. Dolas, I am afraid that it is off to tribal council for you...
BUT,
Tribal council is a bit different. For this council only, Dean Houston's win also gives them a reward. Their reward is the chance to earn the favor and good will of the Dolamites. The members of Dean Houston can choose one individual from Dean Houston and extend thier immunity to that one player. Each player from Dean Houston must post their pick in this thread for everyone to see. You may vote for "no one" if you choose, and if that is how the votes add up them no one will aquire the immunity. If someone does not vote, their vote is not counted. In the event of a tie, John Galt will break the tie (He is the only one who played in this game for Dean Houston). Dean Houston, you have 24 hours to post your vote.

Well there is three votes for Swaggs, while there is still an hour for the other members to cast their votes the three votes for Swaggs is enough to grant Swaggs immunity. Dolamites, it is time for tribla council
