Is anyone going to the Nationals Opening Day game this year? I don't have tickets yet, but I will be sure to have some by the time March 30 rolls around.

Delayed dola:

I ended up buying season tickets. If anyone is interested in some great seats for a Nats game, let me know. (2 rows off the field)

Nice! How many seats do you have? I'd be interested in picking up some of your day games if you need to get rid of any. I can't justify buying season tickets when most of the games are at night and conflict with my work. Also, no way in hell will I be going on Opening Day. Being a part of history doesn't outweight the sheer misery and hell that will be getting to the park that day.

I figure if I just want to watch a home team lose, I have 81 chances to drive to Pittsburgh this year, so I won't make it to DC. Sorry.

I still want to go see a Pirates game. The one time I've been to Pittsburgh it wasn't baseball season, so I missed out on my opportunity. It looks like a beautiful place to watch a game though.

It is an amazing ballpark. Too bad they throw a shitty team out there to play in it every year.

Season tickets would be extremely cool. I live 5 hours from Houston though so not real possible here. We are trying to get one of their packages of 10+ games for the season though, mainly so we can go when the Red Sox and Yankees play in Houston. I know it's not 1920, but those are two damn historical franchises I have never seen play in person and both the wife and I would like to see them.

I go watch the Single-A team near me far more than I watch the Nationals (or Red Sox, for that matter). I'm used to shitty teams. Still, bad baseball's better than no baseball at all.

The Potomac Nationals should be pretty good with a whole year of Chris Marrero and others this year.

I was going... until my friend backed out because she had to work in the morning...

So instead we're going on the 7th which is the first game of the homestand.

Cam if you do go to a Pirates game...get seats on the 3rd base side. The view from there is really nice. You can see the city all lit up in the background.

Ah - memories.. watching Barry Bonds, Bobby Bonilla, etc, etc etc..

Many many years of Prince William/Potomac games in my youth.

My friend and I bought a full set of 81 (2 seats). We're still working out how to deal with them. We're thinking we give any friends an opportunity to "buy in" on the package if they want. From there either a draft-style seat selection, or, if there aren't any major conflicts, just negotiate for games. We'll probably keep about half of them for the 2 of us to use and try selling on stubhub/ebay. Guaranteed shareholders in the tickets are the safest bet for us, though.

As Wade already mentioned, we grew up watching the Potomac team (Prince William Pirates later to be the Potomac Cannons and now the Nationals).

I had no luck there. :( I got past the "virtual waiting room" and then the actual ticket buying was too bogged down until it eventually kicked me back into the waiting room.

I'm pretty much open for anyway to get rid of some tickets.. we dove in on this after going on a ballpark tour on Sunday (hard hats and all) and deciding we needed to stop screwing around and just get season tickets.

Doug - please pm me if you need to move some tickets at any point. Thanks!
