Rob Van Dam is walking backstage, turns a corner, and bumps into Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin says something that RVD doesn't like, and they start arguing. After some heated words, Benjamin challenges RVD to meet him in the ring for a match next week. (C)

Thoughts: A nice showing for my first show...it was very top heavy and for a reason, to get my name out there fast as TV contracts are up. I got a full Tournament storyline done and out in one show and it allows me to build off of it into a few feuds too.

Very, very, very pleased with my first PPV.

Eric Bishoff debuted as the new WWE: Raw authority figure along with Dave Prazak a new announcer who is on a PPA deal and also works for ROH.

Got just what I wanted out of my main event and it's only in stage 2. Punk vs. Chavo had to be my most disappointing match/storyline right now, but we'll see if it picks up.

I'm trying to build Paul Wight up to be a monster and his lack of ring energy is really hurting that right now.

He begins be mentioning that the WWE:RAW brand of wrestling is starting a new age as they have not one, not two, but three new shows premiering this week as we will see Thursday Terror, Saturday Night's Main Event & Raw Roundup. He then introduces the new announce crews for each of the new shows. Finally to get the loudest pop of the night he mentions that tonight's main event we will see Dave Bautista take on Paul Wight (B-)

London and Kendrick defeated Murdoch and Cade in 6:47 when Paul London defeated Trevor Murdoch by pinfall with a Get Well Soon. (C-)

Carlito defeated Ric Flair in 9:47 by pinfall with a Back Stabber. (C)

Dave Bautista and Paul Wight bump into eachother back stage and they quickly square off. The staredown soon turns physical, and they are joined by Ric Flair, Jeff Hardy, CM Punk and Chris Jericho for a pull apart wild brawl, with the chaos spilling out around the backstage area. Eventually a number of officials and even more wrestlers have pull them apart before they kill each other prior to their match tonight. (B)

I expected this one as I expect a low rating for Raw this week, but I didn't want to have a lot of "star" matches with 3 new shows debuting I need to keep everyone fresh and ready and allow for some more matches on the other shows or you keep seeing the same match week after week.

Very pleased with the Orton/Jericho match it has potential to be bigger in the future and with the Mike Knox dark match.

I'm not upset with this rating either. I'll probally run this show in areas that I need to boost my popularity (Canada, Mexico, Japan, UK) and with a lot of lower card talent and one big match and a smaller match featuring a name wrestler. This is also probally the only place you'll see the women's division as I don't really care for it much and have retied the women's title anyhow.

As DeTox said we've been toying with the balance here. 80% matches seems to be a good fit for me (I'd almost go more, but most the angles would be gone if that were the case)

I'd expect B's or better from here on out....look for some new storylines to begin just before & after the PPV too.
