In my SP player career (I play as Chicago) I went 16-0 in the regular season for the first time in probably over 100 simmed seasons.
The bad news. So did the AI controlled Oakland Raiders.
Yes. You heard that right. There were TWO 16-0 teams. We both meet in the SuperBowl. Oakland defeated me in overtime. It was an amazing game.
Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?

Wow, that sounds like one heck of a season with the perfect ending, from an objective point of view. Crazy way to see an undefeated streak end though.

I was so excited to finally see me put together an undefeated season, only to be completely shocked to see the also undefeated Raiders defeat me. At one point I was up 24-10 in the 4th and thinking I had it easily won. Then the Raiders proceeded to score 20 unanswered points to beat me in OT.
I did win it all the next year....going 13-3. So, which team was better? My 16-0 team that lost, or my 13-3 team that won? History won't remember my undefeated team.

Ask the Pats if they win it all next year.

Had almost an identical situation in my redrafted league. I was 15-0 going into the last week and so were the Panthers. I won, they lost in OT so when we met in the Superbowl, they were 17-1 and I was 18-0. Luckily, no come back from them to complete the perfect season. But talk about a time to lose your steak of perfection, in OT, last regular season game.

This happened in the RNFL MP league last season, which was pretty nutty.

Sounds like the right team won the undefeated season.

F the Raiders. Except for TH and JLH, god bless their souls.
