PM box is nice and empty for lists. Remember that the clock starts at 10am eastern time and we will get through 1 pick an hour minimum until 4pm. If we get through a bunch we'll keep it like that, if its slow we'll extend it from like 10am-6pm. If you're not sure you can be online during that time, make sure you have PM'd me a list!

If you pick close to me and would rather not send your picks to me, can always find someone else to send a list to. I dunno if FOFC has 'opened notifications' on PMs here but if you are concerned about me swiping a pick I will promise not to open anyone's PM in this game until its thier turn ;)

(this hasn't been an issue in past years but just in case)

Radii
03-17-2008, 11:02 AM
yeah I was a bit suprised to see Mayo. Lofton and Abrams were the other two guys I considered the most before I took Lopez. I guess I'm rooting for Stanford now :D I like Lofton but I think Tennessee is just a huge candidate to be upset early, and that UNC, Louisville, and Washington State are all much more likely to get out of that region than Tennessee, which is why I left him alone.

Lathum's up for 2 picks.

Logan
03-17-2008, 11:08 AM
If I remember correctly, I didn't like Lofton a lot last year, figuring they'd go out early...and he lit it up for his three games.

Radii
03-17-2008, 12:21 PM
ntn once we get to you if you have already done the work and have a list at home that you want to go by there's no reason to force a clock on people at this point, as long as we get through a good bit tomorrow too we're flying.

Radii
03-17-2008, 12:37 PM
pm'd ram(and I see he's here).

I dunno about Harangody, big time scorer with explosive potential, but could very very easily go out in round 2. My other top alternative htough was an 11 ppg scorer that isn't really guarenteed to go deep enough to make up for the scoring average difference.

exactly why I didn't take him, I went with a guy who can hopefully play 5-6 games and put up 13 PPG instead of a guy who may put up 50 in 2 games.

There is another guy out there that I love but can't take but I will refrain from mentioning him until he is picked.

I am a bit suprised he lasted as long as he did. In a full game i would have taken him at the end of the 3rd round for sure, and would not have been suprised if someone picking K-State to make the sweet 16 had grabbed him earlier.

ntndeacon

I was hoping Scottie Reynolds would still be around for my last pick. I guess at least this way I'll probably end up with a little more diverse team. Had I landed Reynolds I'd have 5 Big East players.

this is the first year in awhile that I haven't taken 6 ACC players I think. I was hoping for Ellington this year(or hansbrough of course but once the draft order was out i knew that wasn't happening) but wasn't about to touch any of the other ACC teams.

I was looking at Drake's leading scorer, Josh Young, and Eric Gordon from Indiana along with Neitzel here. I'm suprised a 15 ppg scorer from a 5 seed didn't get drafted at all. I honestly think that Gordon has a good chance to explode for 2 games, while Michigan State and Drake are very very unlikely to play more than 3 games and are both 1st round upset candidates too... I think I should have taken Gordon, but I couldn't bear to take someone that would cause me to want a player to light it up vs North Carolina :P
