It'd be one of those amusing, full circle things.
If you recall, my company isn't doing so hot, and I've been poking around for an escape route. As it turns out, a company I worked for many years ago is hiring. I originally was laid off there during the dot-com bust. Since then, they spent a couple years struggling, reformed, and came out extremely strong. I still keep in touch with several people who work there, past and present. We go out for lunch from time to time.
Anyway, shot my old boss an email, and he said they were looking for someone more entry level, but it's possible they could bump up the budget to bring me on.
I'd love to go back there. Stability at a time where I'm trying to buy a house, a signifigant bump in pay, and working with a great group of people.
So, cross your fingers.
