I don't play single player.
I just had 2 safeties go free agent on me in a league 2 years after signing 3 year deals.
I may have had last-year voidable contracts, but as neither had a single pick(big loss, this deal, ehh?), it shouldn't have kicked in.
Any other reports of this? I suffered through the initial Nate Clements and others glitch seasons ago, now this...??

Last year voidable contracts can be more than just interceptions. They could have reached a tackle threshold.

Nah,they wouldn't have reached it had there been. It was structured for 8 picks-they just up and left.

Okay, I've never seen anything like this. Here's a thought: When did you give them extensions? If, for example, you gave them an extension in Week 16 of the 2010 season, the contract screen would show 3 years, but the 1st year would be 2010 which was almost over. Could this have happened?

This happened to a guy in the league I run - voidable last year, goals weren't met, became a free agent anyways. Was believed to have been a bug in 2004 that cropped up in the first season after we converted to 2007.
Thanks for the report. Looking into the problem, it's actually a bug from FOF 2004, unreported for almost four years. Unfortunately, the conversion algorithm can not change the issue.

Must be wahat sovereignstar said-I signed both during FA to 3 yr deals, weren't originally drafted by me or had ever been on my team.
So just stay away from voidable contracts?

Hell no! Just make sure you take into account that a contract given during the season starts eats up one year of the contract.
And/or jack the thresholds up. If it's a guy I think will be worth more, I make the trigger nigh impossible to reach. If it's a guy I think will get worse (old age) I'll give him a really low trigger to get him off my books sooner.
Mind you, I only play SP, so take this with a grain of salt.
