I think most are between 100-150. What's best for fun/realism?

I think the answer is 100. If you are lucky enough to get 32 committed owners that will still pay attention to their team even when the starting offensive line is out for three weeks with gout, then it would be fun to use a realistic injury level like 200. I've just seen way too much bitching about injuries to see cranking them up as a positive for 909% of the mp leagues out there.

And I'll add that preseason injuries should = 0.

We're trying 200 in AFLAC. My theory is over the long haul it should consume a little more cap because more players will suffer severe ratings hits and career ending injuries. We'll see if it makes a cap difference after 4 or 5 years. I also like the idea of teams kind of having to choose whether to build a lower risk deeper team or a higher risk top-heavy team.

I played a few SP seasons on 200 and my team was a MASH unit. It did not feel realistic. Maybe I needed to up my "avoid injury" slider during preseason.
I like bmerrymen's argument, but the better solution to that is to lower the cap.
I think that the truth is we don't know the ramifications of the 200 injury level for MPs because Jim reset all the injury histories with the new patch. FWIW, in all 3 leagues I'm in there were very few injuries just after the Fountain of Youth patch. The one MP league that hit the second season has far more injuries.

As a member of the AFLAC i voted for 200 injury setting because of the challenge it presents in building a team with depth. Should be interesting, I think it's possible to get a league full of owners who won't quit just because their star QB went down for the season.
