I actually had a state senator tell me this on the air today (his name will not be stated in order to spare him further embarrassment)

"There's nothing wrong with our public education system. I'm a product of our public education system. It's a fine system.. we just need to fund it betterly .

How did you keep from laughing on the air? Was it difficult? I don't think I could sit there without saying anything after a genius statement like that...
