Our commish has been super busy and has sent me a "commish password" but nothing else as I attempt to keep things moving smoothly.

Wont I need more than this? It seems like I need his commish files or something don't I?

Will I need ftp info to get uploads or is it like OOTP in that regard? I used to commish, but man it's been a long time and even longer with FOF.

You need to start up a "new game" as Commish with the same league name as your league, so you will be able to Load as Commish... don't use those league files though.

Then, you just need everybody to send you their export files from week to week, and you need to put them into your "Import" folder. From there, you "Import Stage Files", simulate, and "Export Game Files", Zip all the files in your "Export" folder, and upload them.

My first instructions might be sketchy, but I'm pretty sure that's right, just start up as commish and put the ".fmk" or ".fmm" file in your Leagues folder... someone else might know which one it is.

Inputting the commish password will make an fmk file and it doesn't need to be moved. What you do need is the fpn file from his leagues folder. That holds everyone's gameplan information.

When I create a new league all I can do is load a MP game in which I am still the same Vikings GM I always have been.

Not getting anywhere...hmmm...

Gah. I'm full of shit. Not sure what I was thinking.

Like Midget said, start a new MP league with the same league ID as the league you want to commish. This should create an fmk file which you'll be able to use. I would recommend backing up your leagues folder before you do that as I think the temp league will overwrite some of your original leagues files.

Put the fmk file aside, then restore your old leagues folder contents. Put the fmk in the leagues folder. Open the game as commish, then input the commish password when prompted for it.
