Well, since, ahem, they aren't real diligent about passwords I am extremely sure this isn't for customers.

Only two local machines, one their POS, one that sounds like it's their office computer, me and one other outside connection have been assigned an IP address recently.

This is probably not a service to customers but just a lack of a system administrator.
