Using Yahoo! Fantasy baseball and joining a private league with 7 friends. I try to win to show my knowledge of baseball and for bragging rights. There is no cash prize( I wish there was). There are no house rules. It is just flat out fantasy baseball and who ever comes out on top is the best in fantasy baseball until next season.

Before I give the line-ups out I have to say one thing. I am not a Yankees fan personally I am a White Sox fan. My team may show that I am a Yankees fan, but I repeat I am not a Yankees fan. Just had to get that out of the way.
The In-Field
Catcher - Jason Varitek 10 HR 61 RBI
1B - Jason Giambi 41 HR 122 RBI 314 AVG 120 R
2B - Alfonso Soriano 39 HR 102 RBI 41 SB 300 AVG 128 R
SS - Derek Jeter 18 HR 75 RBI 32 SB 124 R
3B - Eric Hinske 24 HR 84 RBI 99 R
I think my infield is pretty solid. The only thing I'm worried about is if the Yankees go in a slump then I am in trouble. We have lots of power in the infield and should get the bulk of our homeruns from this area in the line-up. Overall a very good line-up.
The Outfield
OF - Shawn Green 42 HR 114 RBI 110 R 285 AVG
OF - Ichiro Suzuki 51 RBI 31 SB 321 AVG 111 R
OF - Chipper Jones 26 HR 100 RBI 327 AVG 90 R
An out field that is strong at every position. Ichiro and Chipper are both very good average hitters although I may want a little more power from this line-up. Shawn Green anchors the out field with his outstanding power numbers. Chipper is also a solid player all year round.
The Bench/ Utility
Utility Man - Raul Ibanez 24 HR 103 RBI 294 AVG
Bench - Hideki Matsui Rookie
Bench - Mike Camron 25 HR 80 RBI 31 SB 84 R
All the guys on my bench will get a chance to be the Utilility man and play some in the out field so it should be no problem getting these guys plenty of starts.
The Starters
SP - Roy Halladay 19 Wins 168 K 2.93 ERA 1.19 WHIP
SP - Kevin Millwood 18 Wins 178 K 3.24 ERA 1.16 WHIP
SP- Freddy Garcia 16 Wins 181 K 4.39 ERA 1.30 WHIP
SP - Paul Byrd 17 Wins 129 K 3.00 ERA 0.99 WHIP
SP - Kazuhisa Ishii 14 Wins 143 K 4.27 ERA 1.58 WHIP
SP - Odalis Perez 15 Wins 129 K 3.90 ERA 0.99 WHIP
A solid bunch of starters. I may have the best starters in the league fro top to bottom. I call them my young guns since none of these pitchers are over thirty. A young bunch but a very solid group of starters. I feel very confident with these starters going into the season.
The Bullpen
Closer - Jason Isringhausen 32 SV 2.48 ERA 0.98 WHIP
Closer - Ugueth Urbina 40 SV 3.00 ERA 1.07 WHIP
Reliever - Felix Rodriguez 24 Holds 4.17 ERA 1.19 WHIP 8 Wins
This is the spot I am worried about on my roster. Jason is a solid closer and so is Urbina, but Urbina is in Texas ans who knows how many games he will ave out there. Jason has an injured pitching staff that may not heal before the year starts. The Cards badly need some healthy starters.
Just to update you some of these players were not on my original rosters. I made a few trades that I will tell you about right now.
My first trade was with SOX WIN PENNANT.
I trade Bret Boone 2B and David Wells SP
for
Paul Byrd SP and Raul Ibanez lots of positions
My second trade was with elite crew 24
I trade Vincente Padilla SP and Preston Wilson CF
for
Mike Camron CF and Kazuhisa Ishii SP
I might update this very soon if I can get a trade for another closer. Otherwise I will not update this till I scout my first opponet.
