Hey folks, I need a favor, sorta soonish.

I've got a friend who's a Yankees fan. Said friend once made the statement that he likes getting clothes for his birthday, fun t-shirts and the like. He's also said he makes a point to wear anything he's given at least once. You can guess where this is going. I, being a Red Sox fan, want to give him a Red Sox t-shirt. Unfortunately, when I try to shop at mlb.com, it says they're out of stock....

Can somebody who lives up there where I imagine there are shirts a-plenty send me a shirt (actually 2, I don't know if he's more an XL or an XXL so send me one of each and I'll just swim in the one I don't give him)? I'd of course pay you (via check or Paypal) for the shirts + shipping.

His birthday is the 31st, which is coincidentally the day that the Red Sox will be in B'more (and we're going to the game as part of a large group), so it would be only too perfect....

Help?
Thanks

Thanks, vtbub! Actually, it's pretty simple, as all I'm really looking for is a simple Red Sox tee, something along the lines of http://shop.mlb.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1905304&cp=1452345.1452683.2454008 (it doesn't have to have a player name/number on the back, but if it does, that's cool too). Since I know this will probably won't be worn too often by him, it doesn't need to be super-fancy or anything. But I'm pretty flexible, if there's one you think is cool, I'm down with that, too...

PM me or send me an email (kpilottemyappendixATgmailDOTcom --remove myappendix to get me), and I can workout payment in whatever form works best.

Thanks a ton!!!

Uh... I'm hoping you are getting him another present as well.

That goes without saying, of course I am. This is the "gag" part of the gift. :) Traditionally, for either Christmas or his birthday, he gets a "gag" gift as a portion of his gift. :)

Ok... I didn't know if you were trying to send this friend "a message" ;).

Nah, I'm not one of those violent crazy Red Sox fans. We keep our rivalry friendly and fun....and for the record, I don't think I could ever run over a Yankee fan with my car... ;)

I'm surprised nobody has posted to tell us how bored they are of the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry yet.
