He already would be if it wasn't for his contract.

"That gutless...6'7", .200 hitting...formerly good player. What a joke!"
HA!
Funny thing is, I must have just missed seeing this live because I was flipping around the games and saw this at 4-0 in the top of the 4th, then flipped to something else. Damn!

Dola,
I wanna see someone go ape-shit over a pitch-out now.

That was beyond stupid.

I'm kind of wondering if the other Mariners were trying to get at Sexson only to get cut off by Rangers in that scrum.

Wow, that pitch wasn't even close. Pretty gutless for a guy 6'7" to throw his helmet at the pitcher first.

What a tool.
I'll enjoy seeing the Mariners getting their faces pounded every night even more now.
What a bag of douche. Seriously.... give me a break.

The best is Ron Washington after the game, "He's 6 foot 13, why does he need to throw a helmet?"

Sexson has one thing going for him. At least he wasn't "Robin Ventura-ed" by the Rangers pitcher.

On a sidenote, why are baseball players still allowed to leave the bench during a brawl?

Because otherwise it's 9 on 1 (or 2, 3, or 4).

If I'm the Mariners, I suspend him an extra 20 games for embarrassing the franchise.

I think we're at 32 straight scoreless innings now. Hard to embarrass the franchise much more than that.

Why wouldn't it be pitcher vs hitter with the four umps breaking things up?

Have you ever seen a baseball fight?

That's horrible. I really do feel bad for Mariner fans.

Of course. Batter come running out and the team on the field HAS to protect the poor pitcher, which in turns forces the 20+ players from the batter's dugout to come out running. Well that now turns the odds in the favor of the batter's team so the other players come running out of the pitcher's dugout. That should even the odds. But then the pitcher's team's bullpen does not want to be left out so they start coming in which in turns forces the other team's bullpen to come running in. All this while the 4 umpires are trying to get control of the situation.
Just pointing out that other sports has taken steps to discourage players from leaving the bench during a fight while baseball has not. Oh well.
