So this is something that has sparked debate in the past, and I was curious as to what the whole board thinks of it, as opposed to my individual leagues.

After each season in my FOF leagues, we have an "Owner's Awards" casual vote, where people pick who they think are the real MVP, Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, etc. Some people vote for their own players, some refuse to. What's your take?

I would vote for one of my players if I thought they deserved it, but I wouldn't vote for myself as GM of the year.

I'm not really sure why (and I don't think less of people that do), but I find myself in the "I won't vote for my own players" camp. I want to think that I can be objective, but I'd rather see them win despite me.

If this were real life, and they were real people, I'm pretty sure I'd vote for my own players.

this. And, if I perceive it to be close at all, I vote for the other guy. Unless the other guy's owner is the type that votes for his own players even when they're clearly not worthy. In that case, fuck him.
