Not enough polls recently, so I'm trying to make up for the shortfall.

I don't even know what it is. From the other thread though, I understand it is some kind of web-based game.
I said it was crap since I have nothing to do with it.

I'm on the "it's okay" level, and trying to decide if it's worth sinking any more money into to upgrade more equipment.

I didn't sink any money into it, and have kind of remained at the same interest level... it kills some time every second day. Right when I signed up, I was excited. But then I saw I was backup FS and saw people were boosting... so I knew after that I won't be big into this game.

Yup.
The FOFC tie is the only thing keeping me in this game, without it I'd be gone.

I have a level 7 wr and have been out boosted to #4 wideout.
shurg. I still lead the team in recieving TDs so boost this.

If the FOFC component of my team dies off, I'll probably lose interest or at least have my interest significantly decrease, but right now my interest level is high.
I'm still interested in it, but I'm not sure for how much longer. It seems our entire team is becoming less involved...the forums are quiet. I don't like having 48 hours between games. If you only play for one team, there isn't anything to do for two days.

A guy I work with has 50 players and a team. He's dropped quite a bit o'money into it. http://goallineblitz.com/game/home.pl?user_id=68894
Another guy I work with has 26 players and a team. http://goallineblitz.com/game/home.pl?user_id=9779
I have players on both teams.

Dola, the way one guy described it was that he drops $15 a month on crap games. $15 isn't much per season if you want a few players and boost them.

As a non-cash player, there's nothing for me to do. My inevitable slide will come soon, once my one player is getting lapped by the pay-to-play crowd.

I enjoy the game, but I do hate that there's a game every 2 days. We should be in season 4 or 5 by now, by my clock.

That's a big part of it for me. It will eventually be hard to compete with guys who pay to level up all the time.

To last in this game you have to pay, no way around it. As long as they refuse to make a no-pay league, this game will defacto require $$$.

I thought this thread was about our current interest level in Gay, Lesbian, Bi... and thought ole Kodos was coming out.

It's not completely a crap game, but meh. No point in playing unless you have the money to put in it.

I'm fine for now, but they seriously need to do something about the XP part and free agency.
There has to be another way to be a benefit to your team and increase in level other than playing time. No one wants to be a backup, that is painfully obvious (judgin by the 1 or 2 emails I get per day about people bitching about PT and being a starter) and you can only have 22 starters so, not hard to do the math.
For Free Agency, there is nothing to offer other than being a starter or $... and $ is worthless other than the cost to upgrade equipment.
(see my XP/Goal post in the other thread for ideas)
This game could be WAY better.

There is so much out there that this game could do to make it better...I am still hooked though...
The team I own, the reason I am hooked, is the overall participation of the GM's and players...it makes it worth it.

It's either this or get discount lap dances from desperate hobos.

i stopped playing. i don't think its a crap game, so i didn't choose the last option. its just i don't want to deal with trying to have my players be a starter. the straw that broke the camel toe's back was my lvl 7 CB was benched for a lvl 15 CB, because my CB "didn't have a good build". when i said what does it matter when my lvl 7 CB has more tackles/ints than the lvl 15 CB (not to mention i was guaranteed to be the starter which is why i chose that deal over other offers), i essentially got a "dude, your build sucks" retort. i don't like it when people think they unlocked the keys to a game and then everyone has to fall in line and make their players the same way. what's the point in giving me decisions if everyone is gonna make their players the same way?
i rather not deal with being an individual player and focus on just owning a team full of CPU players. and i don't want to have to spend money on it.

I voted for the "love it" option.
I'm basically a backup on a team that is something like 25-2 over the last 2 seasons with a very good owner.

I voted for the love it answer, but that's mostly because I have lucked out that the team I own and the other two teams my players are on are all full of active guys that keep the team forums active and talk football. Without that, I wouldn't enjoy it as much. It's great fun, and I haven't pumped a lot of money into it and still own a team and have some players. I'll definitely be playing it for awhile. It'll be fun as long as guys are out there willing to be backups and keep human rosters intact.
Love it and more and more every day.
My own team forum is really active, with over 1000 posts already (have not seen any other team with as much, and i have players in like 13 teams). We discuss tactics with our coordinators/players, trash talk in the league forum, have jokes etc. We have our little community like clans do for other games and that is exactly what i expect from a MMORPG.
About my 14 players, most of them are in really active teams too, as i thought really carefully who to sign with, talked by PM with the owners etc.
Having as much players and my own team, means that i have a lot of things to track and pay attention too, I can imagine it being boring with only one player that plays a game every 2 days.
The game could be improved for sure, but the admins are adding new stuff all the time, can't wait for the new tactics that will allow you to set formations, etc.
I have expended over $200 already and will keep doing it, i'm having more fun with it that with most of the football games in the last 3 or 4 years, so it's money well expended for me.
So yes, i love it!
