No Championship Ring for the inactive ?

I won the championship last night. my rookie running back who was a rushing leader missed the game due to injury. after I won, I was browsing his stats and notice that he did not get recognition for winning a championship. That is a small flaw. everyone on the roster should get a ring. anyone disagree?

Same thing happened to be with Gary Ballman in my historical Dolphins dynasty and I threaded that too.

I understand the reasoning behind it and it worked out when we went out and won it all the next year too so he could get a ring.
