Are the suk x 10000. I will fart on the grave of whoever helped design these absurd pieces of machinery.

how can an ATM be that hard to use?

Does it dispense pennies or something?

I bet it says "ATM Machines" on them somewhere and he's pissed at the redundancy.

I'd like to chime in about this subject, but apparently Kentucky isn't in America.

True story.

I went up to get $200 out of an ATM here at work. Did the fast cash option for $200. The machine promply spit out 200 $1 bills. Let's just say it didn't fit into my wallet, but I wrapped a $100 bill around the stack of $1 bills, just so I'd look like a pimp.

If you have checks you need to deposit, you have to insert them 1 by 1 instead of in an envelope. This is especially helpful if you have a lot of checks or live in a windy area. Increased my average time at the ATM from 35 seconds to almost 5 minutes. Or I guess I can go in and spend 7 minutes in line since they usually only have one teller alive to work.

And there is no trout in the ATM or inside.

weird.

I have never heard of an ATM having singles.

Do you work at a titty bar?

If I was, I won't be for much longer. I'm going to get fucking shived while standing up at that ATM spending 18 minutes inserting my checks.

Oh, and it can't "read" half the checks anyways. Just spits them out into the wind. If my feet didn't hurt, I'd kick the damn ATM machines until they broke.

No, but that's probably something I should look into.

I hate the ATM's that take your card and keep it until the transaction is over.

The ones where you just stick it in and pull it out immediately are much better.

Are you sure it's ATM's you're thinking about here?

As someone who rarely has to deposit checks, I really like the ATMs which automatically read the checks.

Do they have BoAs in Florence? When we moved from Florida 2 years ago, there wasn't a single branch in the state. BoA was our bank in Florida and I had all of my accounts tied into the BoA online payment system, so when we moved, I left the BoA Florida account as-is, have my paycheck deposited in the Florida account, and we got a local bank account for cash withdrawals and local check writing. Ridiculous.

I just did a search on BoAs site, and there are no banking centers in KY that I can find, and only a couple of ATMs (none around here). I don't see an ATM or banking center in Florence.

USAA has this service now where I can stick a check in the scanner and deposit it from home. It's the motherfucking bomb diggity, yo...

This is for "Check 21" compliance.

I just like that it scans my cash deposit and automatically credits it to my account. I bank with Chase, and a few of the more popular branches in NYC have them already.

I was torn between 2 obvious responses here:

1) Have you been to Kentucky? How could you consider it part of a first world country? ;)

2) Just be glad you don't have BOA there and count yourself among the lucky few.

SI

Why, if I've chosen "English" the last brazillion times I've used the ATM, does it still ask me my choice of language. Maybe they think I'm going to change it up here and there? And we don't really have mexicans here anyways, I'd say the second most popular spoken foreign language here is Amish German.

I live in the civilized part of KY...the part that doesn't show up on Idol Gives Back every year. And I like BoA - their online bill pay service is far and away better than any other bank's I've seen, which is why our main bank account is still in Florida but we live here.

Yeah, I actually like the BOA ATMs. Being able to just put money in there without an envelope and having to remember my account number and things like that is so much easier.

Check 21 is why we use online banking and our Visa cards for pretty much everything. Nothing like making it even easier for someone who has your account number to pilfer it...

Pretty dumb assailants if they're sticking someone who's inserting checks instead of cash :).

Logan

Some people with small businesses end up with tons of checks. Unlike you and your all-cash gigolo operation.

Mrs. Leafs pays me in booty dollars, which has absolutely nothing to do with ass pennies.
