My wife and I are re-doing our bathroom. We spent weeks and weeks hunting down all the different stuff, especially the tiles. We finally found some tiles we like a couple weeks ago and placed the order, the guy said 5-7 days.
So, with everything else already bought, we arranged to have a handyman guy come in to help us do the work (drywall, plumbing and installing the tub, and tiling). He is scheduled to start work on the 16th.
Today I decided to call the tile place because it had been 2 weeks and we hadn't heard. Turns out the tiles are back-ordered and not coming until mid-July or August!
If you ran a business, and people ordered something and you told them 5-7 days, and then you found out they were back-ordered, wouldn't you maybe call them to let them know?!?! When did they plan to tell us? I am absolutely pissed right now.
