I guess all the criminals now will see that and say, "hey, we better go and fix that".

Mississippi would be near the bottom for sure. They'd get laughed at if it got reported.

We have more fires in MS that any other state. If we ever get an official sports franchise they need to call them the "Mississippi Pyromaniacs". Pyros for short.

Seems that California has several cities with the highest unemployment, yet low crime. At least the unemployed in Atlanta are smart enough to go rob someone. ;)

Most of those California metropolitan areas with high unemployment rates are smaller metropolitans areas in agricultural areas, FWIW. They are not really representative of the areas where most Californians live, while the areas on the crime lists are. That's not to say we are doing particularly well on the employment front (the Silicon Valley job market is about as bad as I can remember it ever being).
