I have a brother who lives in CR. He is not in the flood, but only one of the towns wells is working. If people conserve, they have a 3 or 4 day supply of water.
I have another brother who lives in North Liberty which is about 10 miles south of CR. Both towns are on an island (Iowa City and Coralville are flooded also). If my brother in CR went to my brothers house in NL, he would have to go north to waterloo, west to I35, south to Des Moines then back East. A normal 15 minute trip takes 4 to 5 hours and 281 miles.
