I got my $600 that Prez Bush says to go out and spend. Whoopee! With inflation... oops, that word isn't being used yet. Well, with prices going up this gets us back to where we were a few months ago.

I was thinking...

The way the government pisses away money, billions of dollars every week go into things we'll never see or feel the effect of. One billion is a drop in the bucket to the government. There are 300,000 citizens in this country, which is less than 1/3 of a billion. One million dollars per person would be a nice economic stimulus. The government wouldn't even notice it.

300,000! Wow, I had no idea that over a third of the country squeezes into the Big House every other fall Saturday. I guess that's why they don't schedule UM and UT and USC games all on the same day. Who would watch on TV then?

that's what we'll have spent on the Iraqi War in about 10 years. i'd rather 1 million in my bank acct courtesy of Uncle Sam than some fledgling jihadist getting the benefit of it.
