i'll be running my hometown soccer league this summer. i've been a coach in the junior division (10,11, and 12 yr olds) for five years, but this will be my first year being the commissioner. it's a great league that i have been pretty successful in. we have a nice field to play on and top of the line eqiupment. paid referees for every game.

we are expecting to have just over 100 kids sign up, and i'll divide them into 10 teams. we play 8 v 8 on a smallish field. 7 and a goalie. it will be co-ed with the boys and girls playing together. it's a nice group of kids and i am looking forward to the opportunity.

my first order of business is to schedule the games. i could use some help, if there is anyone out there that has done this before. each team needs to play the other nine teams twice each....

so 10 teams playing 18 games each, would be 90 games i need to schedule (if my math is correct). 10 x 18 = 180 180/2 = 90 games

i can schedule 10 games a week for 9 weeks, and then start playoffs based on the final standings.

does anyone know how to generate a schedule like this? i have neither the mathmatical ability or the software needed for this.

any help is appreciated in a big way. thanks.

EDIT - A cursory check didn't reveal any problems, but double-check every team. For the second half, just flip it or start from week 1 again.

Here's a link that shows you a 10-Team, 18-Game schedule. Is this what you're looking for?
