...is another little girl!!

Maggie was born June 19th at 2:13am and weighed a healthy 7 lbs. and 11 ounces. Mom and baby spent their first night back at home last night and they are doing great. Our two year old daughter, Emma, has been so cute fussing over her little sister and was even looking at the doctor sideways when she was causing Maggie some discomfort. Good stuff.

Sweet! When can we count on # 3?

My wife was in labour for under 2 hours. You would think that would be a blessing but instead my wife was frantic as she thought for sure she was having the baby in the frontseat of our Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme!! Doctor didn't even make it on time and promptly nicknamed my wife, "Speedy" when he did arrive. Obviously too soon to tell, but this may be it for Mrs. Shaka and I. But, then again she was hell bent on naming this kid with our first's middle name and I managed to win that battle...maybe I have another win up my sleeve!!
