Do you watch this stuff? I was shocked at how many posts we have in the Pro Wrestling Discussion thread, so I thought we should see what percentage of FOFC watches it.

No. It's a "soap opera" for pre-teen boys and immature adults.

I used to watch WWE quite often, but it got quite boring and repetitive. I still occasionally tune into TNA, but not as often as I used to.

I watched it when I was in elementary and junior high. Haven't really watched it since...

Not as much as I used to, but I do at least a fast TIVO viewing of most WWE shows.
It's not so much the shows that entertain me anymore, it's the business itself, and why things happen the way they do. (And if you look at the pro wrestling thread, that's what 95% of the discussion is - an analysis of the WWE/TNA booking and business strategies)

I think I would almost rather watch Sex And The City over wrestling.

Used to until about 2000.

I love wrestling. I shouldn't because it's stupid, but I grew up with it. It was a bonding thing with my Grandpa Schmidt. I always knew it was fake when I was a kid, but I never said a word to him, and I kind of tricked myself into believing it. We watched a ton of early to mid 80's southern wresting when I lived in Florida, and whenever I visited. I was hooked.
All the way until the day he died, my grandpa wouldn't let you in his house if A) you drove anything other than a Ford (a lot of my family work for Ford, and B) you said that wrestling was fake. I miss him. :(

I wonder what the results of a "Do You Still Listen to Def Leppard" poll would be, Mr. Judgemental ;)
Almost 100%.*
*On the DefLeppard.com boards.
Besides, I already take abuse regularly for liking Def Leppard. Why, just yesterday they were made fun of on CT & Jivin's podcast. But then they liked crap like Weezer, so I don't feel to bad about my tastes. :)

Wow, he probably wouldn't have even let me set foot in the yard. :p

"Love it" might be too strong, but of the choices in the poll it was definitely the closest for me.

"Love it" is definitely strong, but I follow it. I was a big fan as a kid, and I still find it a really interesting industry.

Not love it, and the reason we watch it on Monday now is there is not anything else we like on at that time.
But I am like Schmidty, Sunday mornings I would head over to my Grandpa Addis house and while he cooked us breakfast, we would watch wrestling, and he would make his old school comments on it, and I would laugh and enjoy it.
I was introduced to the southern wrestling groups when my dad moved to Memphis in 84 and I went to visit him in 85 and saw them on T.V. it hooked me big time there for a while.
The business is amazing, and they pack the house.

How much does "Tell Me How My Ass Taste 12" cost, and does it foster swinger behavior?

It's like a watching a bad comic book on TV.
Total waste of time, IMO.

Athletic, greasy, mostly naked men grappling with each other? Pass. I always thought it was more for those that haven't admitted it to themselves yet.

I watched a lot of wrestling back in the day when I was a kid. I lived in Dallas for a few years and used to watch World Class Wrestling, with the Von Erichs, Freebirds, Kamala The Ugandan Giant, Iceman King Parsons, and the rest of them.
I followed wrestling a little bit back in the hey day of Wrestlemania 3 and all of that. Whenever that wrestling Saturday morning cartoon was around. My brother was really into it, so I kept tabs.
It wasn't until my second semester of my third year of law school (early 2000) that I got back into it. I had very little to do and simply too much idle time. My roommate and some friends were into it, so we watched it. It was entertaining for a while, but once that semester was over, I stopped.
My wrestling connection is no completely limited to the few times a year me and my buddies rent whatever the latest wrestling game is for the Xbox 360 when we get together. It's always worth a few good laughs.

I watched it in the early 90's when I was a little kid when Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior were big. I started watching it again in the late 90's about midway through my sixth grade year until sometime during my freshmen year of high school while Stone Cold and the Rock were big. I haven't seen it more then a few times since.

That's the bulk of what I follow these days, although I still enjoy (what qualifies in my mind as) a good match from time to time. Interesting too I guess that I've realized I slipped into a different phase of smarkdom somewhere along the way.
There was definitely a period of several years where the business aspect of it was the most interesting element to me. Hirings, firings, ratings, marketing, etc. Now I'm probably more interested in watching some of the influences behind the decisions that are made more than the decisions themselves. Random example might be TNA reportedly burying the MCMG for a while because they were ticked off about Shelley refusing to blade. That's the business side but it's really more like the personalities & psychology behind the business.

I agree with Jon and Molson, though when I do watch ROH to see some excellent athletes ply their craft. It may be foolish to many, but then again I find Soccer to be the biggest waste of time ever and I find it as fake as wrestling most of the time. At least in wrestling they make some contact before they take a dive.

It is a male soap opera and when it's well written is fun to watch. Even though it's nowhere as good as the mid to late 90's I still watch it.

An unusual confluence of work-related issues brought Linda McMahon into the office for a meeting with me and my boss. She was very pleasant. For about a 4-year period following that (about 1999-2002), my wife and I became regular WWE viewers and got to spend a little time with some of the workers on Capitol Hill and backstage at the Verizon Center. Once the Rock moved onto movies, my wife lost interest. Since 4 years of watching means you've pretty much covered all the storylines out there, I lost interest soon after.
