I have an upset owner right now due to this play.

Alabama: Strong formation, strength is right. The defense is in a 43 with nickel personnel and 2-deep bump-and-run coverage, expecting the pass.

3-1-WOP22 (3Q: 05:57) Chad Pennington pass fell incomplete, intended for RB Clifton Dawson. CB Josh Wilson defended the pass. The wind blew that pass off course. PENALTY: Alabama was called for an Illegal Chop Block.

4-16-WOP37 (3Q: 05:51) Andy Lee punted 37 yards. Touchback.

If the Chop Block is called and accepted, it should be 3-16, since it's not an automatic loss of down.

Or am I up in the night?

It's just a 15 yard penalty.

Ok, so the game handled this improperly.

Weirdly enough I saw this today in one of my MP games as well.

3-10-DEN23 (3Q: 05:50) Bucky Ferraro pass completed to WR Vernon Barrett for 10 yards. Tackled by S Rod Vedros. Barrett gained 1 yard after the catch. PENALTY: Boise was called for an Illegal Chop Block.

1-10-DEN28 (3Q: 05:42) Bucky Ferraro pass completed to TE Darnell Mitchell for 12 yards. Tackled by OLB Alfred Palma. The receiver ran his route right over the middle of the field.
