How important is endurance to players and in particular starting players?

I generally rank it just below the key attributes for the position. For starters, I want it to be pretty respectable (50+). Of course, it also depends on the position and on the depth I have at that position. It is often my "all other stats being close to equal" tiebreaker.

If you have low endurance starters, you need good depth.

So in a draft, would you take a player rating out in the 70's with extremly low stamina in the hopes that it rises, or a lesser tier starting player with good to very good stamina, say in the 60's.

I can't answer that definitively without a lot more information. What position? What kind of depth do you have? What round pick? Is this an allocation draft or annual draft? Which ratings are in the 70s vs. 60s...overall or specific bars? If specific bars, which ones?

Post a screen shot of each player. :)

Its hurts when you have a quality RB or WR with low endurance. Very frustrating.

Actually I drafted a CB with a 0-23 endurace bar.
RD 10-25
M2M 70-90
ZD 75-95
BNR 60-75
PD 75-95
PH 0-20
INT 70-85
PR 15-30
KR 75-90

Top CB went 2nd in the draft, needed help in the secondary and this guy had the best combine score and bars of the remaining CB's. His Broad Jump was not in the green, which I hope means that his Endurance will creep up.

I'm big on endurance. If you're not on the field, you're not making plays. Unless it's a situational player, endurance is one of the first things I look at.

I might have took him, as well. I usually carry depth in my secondary for nickel and dime backs anyway.

I consider endurance a medium factor, with a little less importance for O-lineman and more importance for star RBs and WRs.
