Yes, that's right, we have reached Round Three.

The second round finished with the removal of Who Shot Mr. Burns, Parts I & II, by another fairly close margin. In a vote that saw the votes spread out much among the candidates, the two-parter whodunit was voted out 7 times out of 31 total votes, for a 22.6% "success rate. Cape Feare was second, with 5 votes (16.1%).

Here are the episdoes that have been voted off so far...

Round 1: Grimey with 11/53 votes--20.8% (Homer Goes To Space in second place with 10/53--18.9%)
Round 2: Who Shot Mr. Burns, Parts I & II with 7/31 votes--22.6% (Cape Feare in second place with 5/31--16.1%)

Rather surprising that we have had four different first and second place finishers so far. Looks like opinion is much divided. I look forward to seeing which episode will be voted off next.

Episode capsules/descriptions to follow...

How can anybody vote for Cape Feare before Deep Space Homer? The Thompson bit is classic and so are the rakes.

"Who wants to go through the cactus patch?"
"Me!"
"Me!"
"Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

Come on people, that episode is a classic.

Wow, this one closes tight!

Cape Feare, too little, too late. I think this is a great episode, but then if it was just me this voting wouldn't really have a point, would it? So, see ya, Cape Feare.

Homer Goes To Space finished a touch behind--its second second-place finish. It seems to just be hanging on.
