Fun and addicting I should have said. You can save your designs, so share your best contraptions with the rest of us.

Agreed. Some of the levels I don't even know where to begin. Like 'Tube' in particular and mission to Mars, I have some idea, but I can't even get close.

If anybody can figure out tube, please post it.

Mission to Mars. Not past it yet but here are my thoughts...
Surround the green circle with wheels and put the target on a long connected stick. When wheels should keep going around and hopefully swing the stick far enough. Thought 2 is to find a way to throw the ball.

Got it.

BrianD is on the right track with Mission to Mars.

I've managed to get up to Big Ball, but this one has me stumped and I haven't even tried it yet. If you get here, just let the world run without implementing anything to see the issue.

Big Ball is where I am currently stuck as well. At this point, I don't even have an idea of what to try.

Im stopped at big ball...

Only thing I can think of if you can roll off the same platform the blocker ball started from you would wedge the ball out of the corner...but Im not sure how to get up there yet....

Looking on their forum, there are about a million things I never would have thought to do. This game is making me sad.

I finally figured out Big Ball. After trying a wedge (which totally fails) and a harpoon of the block behind the ball (it wouldn't pry the ball over), I applied a more straight-forward approach.

I built a machine to climb the ball. I used a pole vault to make it easier and had a reverse wheel to push off the ledge. By climbing the ball, it rolls out of the way and allows the block to drop in easily.

I've skipped around and have all the levels complete except Awash and Handling. I'm sure I could do Handling pretty easily, but I don't have the patience right now. So, I'm spending too much time on Awash. I really need to get back to work.

John Galt

Dola,

And I finally figured out Awash.

After trying to go on top of the balls a billion different ways, I successfully built a burrowing machine with an anteater nose and reverse wheels on top.

I may give Handling a try, but accuracy hasn't been my best skill in the game so I might just skip it.

Thanks Marmel for the fun game. This time I really do need to get back to work.

We are having so much fun with this...though currently we are stuck on the stair level. I'm sure there is a fairly simple way to do it, but it's escaping us right now. NO SPOILERS! It's personal now, I'm going to beat that level one way or the other!

I might just have to fork over $10 to get to see the user created levels and keep playing :)

I finally figured out Big Ball, but it was painful and I spent way too much time on it last night.

I ended up shoveling the ball out of the way, but it took several excrutiating runs to find out the correct spot to have the block hang in my contraption before it would be accepted as "passed" by the game. The thing would just dangle and swing right on the edge of the "pass" area but wouldn't get credit for being in the area.

Mine was a lot less creative.
I created a long ramp starting from the orange ball and let the target ball roll down, bounce off the far wall, and roll into the goal.

OMG! I'm still suck on the stupid stair one...would someone PLEASE let me know how you solved it? I managed to get it ALL the way up to the top stair, made it over all the stupid little balls without getting pulled back down, and then it couldn't/wouldn't get up that last freaking stair!!!!

HELP!!!

I got up to the 7th stage on my own, then was stumped on the 8th so I started looking at other people's solutions. Wow. Mine looked like something a caveman would piece together in comparison.

I've managed to get everyone but "Unpossible". However, I'm coming to the conclusion I don't have the imagination that some of you have. For instance, my Four Balls (http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=105472) solution isn't very elaborate, but it is effective. :)

Some other solutions of mine:
Awash (http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=105727)

Handling (http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=105933)

Back and Forth (http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=106531)

As you can see, my solutions went from rather elegant to finding any way of getting the job done, including dumb luck. :D

Brilliant...hardly...more luck than anything!!

It's strange, but your Unpossible and Back and Forth solutions are pretty close to the ones I used. I think I fully tethered my chain in Unpossible, but the concept was the same.

Both of my solutions were more or less accidental.

Back and Forth...I was simply trying to get over the ball to see if the ball would essentially shoot out the other end after passing over it. Well, I never got over the ball but instead ended up "pulling it" and that worked even better.

And for Unpossible...once I figured out how to get up top I was actually trying to figure out a way to "around the world" the ball like a yo-yo but then my chain ended up getting caught and my vehicle narrowly missed landing in the goal. A little tweak, and voila.

Four Balls drove me insane last night. I had a duel catapult thing going on that was getting all but the very last object home, as it was flying over the target. The slightest modification to my design caused the whole thing to fail, and at that point I started looking at how bloody impressive other people's designs were for that stage (drawbridges, delayed chains, etc.) that I got completely disheartened with my archaic designs and gave up.
