You dont need a microphone. A cell phone or land phone. But unfortunately a tin can and string wont work.

If you use a mic which is hooked into your computer and connected to the talkshoe.com site through the internet, it isnt as fast as a phone. Plus with the internet traffic and lag time, the sound quality isn't as good. So everyone will hear an echo when you talk or you'll be all chopped up.
