This is from another site. Don't know how true, but I believe MSNBC is reporting it now.

The latest breaking news from DEBKA:

US warplanes taking off from the USS Abraham Lincoln are bombing Iraqi military targets along the US-UK line of advance.

DEBKAfile exclusive: Kurdish sources confirm that Iraqi deputy prime minister Tareq Aziz is in their hands and is being questioned by US intelligence officials.

Earlier, as American and British forces began invasion of Iraq, DEBKAfile’s military sources reported persistent rumor that two leading powerbrokers of Saddam’s regime had fled Baghdad: deputy prime minister Tareq Aziz, who is thought to be hiding in Kurdistan in northern Iraq, and vice president Taha Yassin Ramadan who has not been seen for three days.

The invasion has begun with the advance of US Marines and British 1st Armored Division into Iraq in the direction of southern key naval port of of Umm Qasr. A second column of US 3rd Infantry Division troops crossed into the demilitarized zone on Iraqi border with Kuwait, with thousands of tanks, combat vehicles and fuel trucks

Hundreds of Iraqi officers and soldiers are reported streaming to the Turkomen town of Tozkhurmato south of Kirkuk and turning themselves in

Boortz just said the Fox News is supposedly reporting it too, but he (or I) can't get on their web site right now.

I was trying to figure that out, too, and also on what basis he could be held.

That article doesn't say he was shot, but radio has been reporting rumors of it for about 90 minutes.

If oil prices went down as a result of the news, they can give as much misinformation as they want. Hell, I'd support the war if I saved .50 on my gallon prices... oh the days of 89 cent gas...(For reference for what i am referring to, read grantdawg's link).

I was going to say that none of the major news outlets on the internet were reporting this.

With the internet the way it is, I expect a lot of misinformation. I also expect the media to act as if the 2000 Presidential election issues never occurred.

shit, i'd save $150 dollars a year at .50 a gallon savings. As if you've never gone against your principals, but of course conservatives are perfect. If you're all for the bible as you say, then you should be against the war, the lord says turn the other cheek, not shoot at someone else's. Until someone offers a real discussion instead of petty shit like your response, fuck off.

The Bible also says that rulers "do not bear the sword in vain." Not that you neccesarily care what the Bible says.

SO by what you are saying , Hitler was justified? "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities; for there is no authority except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God." This comes from the same passage in Romans. God institutes all rulers, including Hitler and Saddam. THerefore, Hiltler did not bear the sword in vain, he felt the Jews were wrongdoers, just like Saddam feels we are wrongdoers. Do i agree with either, no, but its not like you care what the bible says unless it helps you, just like me. :)

In defense of SkyDog, I think liberals are pissed because once again, as has been happening for over 6000 years, the visualization of humanistic world peace is not happening. It seems that the greatest fallacy is the unrecognition of sin and the true hatred and destruction it can cause. No visualizing, no enlightenment, no self-awareness can ever change that because we cannot save ourselves from sin.

the Bible also says "More Midgets Please."

I'm not getting bogged down in this. Just pointing out that your misuse of scripture then proceeding to cuss out Skydog was wrong and unnecessary.

To me his words caused greater offense than cursing. I'd rather have someone curse at me than to say I have no principles.

What exactly did SkyDog do that was wrong? He made a tongue in cheek comment and you got bent out of shape over it.

If you are going to sell out, you could at least hold out for a better price. My principles are for sale, but I start the bidding at 2 grand, or a trip to Vegas.

lol, my price for selling out is coming down. I started at a million but couldn't get any offers so the asking price has been dropping, it's down to a burger and fries now. :(

As a wise man once said, "We've already established the principle; now we're just haggling over the price."

However, funny, funny, funny stuff.
