View Full Version : NCAA Top Gun Draft
Marmel
03-19-2003, 05:57 PM
This is a snake draft.
The order of the draft is as follows:
1) tucker
2) Marmel
3) ragone
4) jimlynch
5) digamma
6) henry
7) shorty
Just pick in this thread and list the player you are picking and his team, please.
This is pretty informal, but if you have to step away, send me a pm with a few picks and I will take care of you. If anybody fails to pick in a resonable amount of time, you will be skipped.
If you are skipped you are allowed to pick at any time after that.
Any questions?
tucker, start us off!
Ehh? I want in on this. haha
Marmel
03-19-2003, 06:05 PM
sure. check the thread down below, sign in and pick a letter. I will get you in since nobody picked yet.
Marmel
03-19-2003, 06:21 PM
bump. tucker is getting skipped in a bout 5 minutes. :( Nice start.
Marmel
03-19-2003, 06:30 PM
tucker is skipped.
tucker can make his pick at any time now.
I will take Bogans (Kentucky)
Ragone is up.
digamma
03-19-2003, 06:42 PM
at what point do we start skipping others or round up other participants?
Neither Ragone nor JimLynch appear to be on-line.
korme
03-19-2003, 06:43 PM
I say about a half hour. This really sucks, because Marm told them the time. Oh well, better plays for me!!
Pick a letter? I'm not quite sure what you meant... but uh..
I'll pick S?
Where am I suppose to sign in?
Marmel
03-19-2003, 06:44 PM
I guess about 20 minutes or so would be fair. Everybody was aware they I asked them to sign up only if they would be around most of the evening.
And the whole purpose is... to select the best available players?
Marmel
03-19-2003, 06:45 PM
sony, go to this thread:
Sign in (http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~fof/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6689)
and pick a letter that has not been picked yet. I will squeeze you in approprately. We will need you to be around most of the evening.
Marmel
03-19-2003, 06:46 PM
dola....
sony, i outlined the idea in there. Basically, you want to pick players who will score the most points in the entire tourney. So, the best players from the best teams would make sense.
Marmel
03-19-2003, 06:51 PM
ragone is skipped.
jimlynch is up.
I am going for a quick bit to eat, so if he doesn't pick in about 20 minutes, skip him and move on.
Remember, if you have been skipped, you can come back and make your pick(s) at anytime.
This is not going as smoothly as I hoped. Oh well.
Radii
03-19-2003, 07:00 PM
i just signed up if this is still on!
korme
03-19-2003, 07:02 PM
Ok, Radii, since Marm is away, for now, assume you are in the 7th spot, and I'll drop down to the 8th spot.. if Marm gets back and tells you that you are higher go for it.. I just know I'm last!
So for right now, assume you are after henry.
lynchjm24

sorry:(:(:(:(:(
korme
03-19-2003, 07:14 PM
Ok, we don't actually know Radii or sony's slots, but we know they aren't last so the fairest thing for the end of the 1st round is this: henry, then Radii, then sony, then I am up.
Okay, I'm just waiting for info
Radii
03-19-2003, 07:21 PM

Radii
03-19-2003, 07:39 PM
mine was a tossup between collison/ford, but I think texas has a better chance of going through their easy bracket than kansas does in the west.

tucker342
03-19-2003, 08:08 PM
Marmel, did u get this idea from the Sporting News, cause in the March 17th issue, they suggested the exact same office pool.
lynchjm24
03-19-2003, 08:10 PM
Dwyane Wade - Marquette
Marmel
03-19-2003, 08:10 PM

Most UConn fans would rather have Chad Wise.
I think they might be starting to give up on Justin.
Now I really wish Fairfield beat Manhattan, I'd love to get my hands on Ajou (Ajou) Deng.
