My name is Jack Avatar i have taken the postion of head booker of Total Championship Wrestling (TCW). We are currently the #2 company in the USA behind Supreme Championship Wrestling. The first thing i do is make a call to Rip Chord who owns Mid Atlantic Wrestling a small federation but i want them to be a training grounds for us. Rip Chord accepts. (being able to have guys on written contacts and a development league is why i took over TCW).
Seems the boss has alot of goals he wants me to meet.
1-must not fall below national size at any time. critical (this is tricky alot of time TCW can fall to cult as it is bording on the edge a couple bad shows and bamn i could be fired in my first month of employement, which is a double wammy cause i just offered contracts to a bunch of my favorite young guys in the game who will be locked into tcw) - 2 years
2-Wolf Hawkins must be kept above B- momentun (well he is the boss podical son here but wolf is the real deal so it is no problem on my part) - 18 months
3-Wolf Hawkins must reach at least B popularity in America (this kid is getting the push) 18 months (he is currently c+ with A momentun so it shouldn't be an issue)
4-Can't Hire anyone who is already working for a Cult sized promotion or above. (That is kind of a pain in the butt but I have a good roster already and the new workers are the ones i want to make a move for and put them into development) 20 months
5-can't hire spot monkey - not a big deal but one of my favorite guys Air Attack Weseal is a spot monkey so i won't have him around (he is a good beat up guy will have A* selling what more do you want from a jobber) 28 months
6-can't hire psychopaths - basically the boss doesn't want me going after the backyard types which is ok by me. 14 months
7-can't hire or extend anyone without at least c- resilance (no problem here don't want guys who get hurt all the time anyways) 22 months

Our Roster:
Tommy Cornell he is the owner and number one guy on talent. He also is the current champion. He is a natural heel doesn't play a face well so i will need to build up faces for him to take down. Was ranked #1 in the 2007 top 100 wrestlers. (i don't think i have the experience booking to keep him there though) he is currently 29 years old. He is also the leader of a stable (think four horsemen, nwo etc) called the Syndicate. (along with Wolf Hawkins, Brent Hill, John Anderson and Sam Keith).
Rickey Dale Johnson our number 2 guy on the franchise list of top 5. He is a face and will go against Cornell on my first card if their is no chemistry issues then they will start a feud. He is 37 but isn't listed on the time decline list (course there may just be 5 guys who are closer to retirement than him). He is a classic brawler who is skilled with the mic.
Sam Keith is number 3. 46 year old main event heel. Sam is a walking legend although he is number 1 on the time decline list not sure how well he can still go but we are going to see and when he does hang them up we are going to try to make him a trainer for our young guys. If he was 20 years younger he would be in the title chase.
Wolf Hawkins is number 4. 21 years old heel. The kid is the only person to be personally trained by Tommy Cornell. He will the co main event for the cards while Tommy is in the main event. Is currently the international champion which is only a midcard belt i am going to keep it on him and see how it goes for now.
Rocky Golden is number 5. He is popular but isn't the wrestler the 4 guys above him are. He is the 2nd best face so will probally get a shot to feud with Wolf Hawkins which hopefully he can learn a thing or two while doing it. He has enough talent to be usefull but i don't see him currently as a world champion.
Gengish Rahn is 37 year old face. He is a popular brawler but isn't good enough to be a true contender and at 37 time isn't on his side. He will go over alot of guys just not the top ones. I am heistant to put him in a main event.
Tyson Baine 36 year old face. He was a monster heel until just recently. In a smiliar postion as Rahn as i am not sure i want him in the main event.
Eddie Peak 31 year old face. another brawler but he is more talented than prior guys and probally next in line for a feud with Cornell after RDJ. I also have a kinda soft spot for him as he was in the fed i managed in prior games.
nickname=The Hardcore Assassin
Joey Minnesota 25 year old face. He has all around skills and is another that is gunning for the world title. If he gets more popular he may very well get it.
Rick Law 25 year old face. brawler who is talented on the mic. If he gets a little better all around game he could be a threat. Is a current threat to wolf hawkins.
Koshiro Ino 30 year old face. "the Kobra" uses the power and paint gimmick. He isn't bad in the ring but he only speak passable english and isn't very entertaining overall. I expect him to put on decent matches and go home. He is a postive influnce in the locker room.
American Buffalo 34 year old heel. Current monster heel. He isn't bad but doesn't stand out to me either.
Brent Hill and John Anderson "the machines" are our current champions. I like both these guys. They got talent.
Scout and Guide are a tag team called the New Wave using a military gimmick they are both 29 and are going to be a staple in the tag team divsion. Another team with talent.
The tag team specialists Robert Oxford and Joel Bryant couple good technical wrestlers with bad mic skills. at 36 and 47 respectively hopefully can help build our next generation of champs passing on the skills they have learned.
The Young Guns Harry Allen and Steve Grumble are both 30 years old. They are ok but aren't in the league of the top two teams and i doubt they ever will be. Hopefully they can put on some decent matches and who knows.
Painfull Procedure. Randall Hopkirk and Billy Jack Shearer. at 43 and 36 years old and not much in the way of talent these guys are going to be putting other teams over for the most part if they are going to keep getting paid.
Troy Tornado is currently on the shelf. He is a popular all arounder with skills on the mic. He is a heel and will probally be a road block for guys getting ready to challenge Cornell.
Giant Tana 30 year old midcard face. Big samoan guy. He has a couple relatives i like better than him but will play gentle giant role and see where he goes. He is good on the mic which could get him over if he ever gets a push.
Texas Pete 26 year old heel. Good locker room guy. Currently not the most talented guy but he isn't horrible and has time to get better. I will keep him around for his locker room presence for as long as he wants. Can't have enough good guys in the back imho.
Danny Fonzarelli 32 year old midcard face. He is a charismatic brawler. He is another midcard guy not sure he will rise above the competition. I am not a big fan of his gimmick personally which is rough when the booker doesn't get you.
Sammy Bach 29 year old heel. Good high flyer. He exudes star. Popular and charismatic. Not sure how he will mesh with the other workers here but I like him so will get a shot and see where he ends up.
Charlie Thatcher 32 year old big guy. He is a limited in his skills is mostly the big guy standing around in an interview. He is best friends with RDJ so he will probally get beat up on darkmatches till his contract runs out.
Edd Stone 21 years old and is a good flier with charisma. Needs a little improvement on his basics. Comes from the a legendary wrestling family. His family is more technical based wrestlers. He also has a big ego and is considered a trouble maker. He may find himself fired if he pulls some stunts under my watch.
Ronnie V Pain 36 year old big heavyweight lower midcard heel that isn't as talented or popular as others on the roster. Doubt i see him getting another contract.
Clark Alexander is 32 year old face. Technical wrestler that isn't well known. Could get a look and see how he matches up with some of the guys higher up on the pecking order.
Freddy Huggins is a heel opener 23 year old high flier. His sister is a manager in our fed. He has charisma and youth on his side and the creative people think he has an upside so he will get some time to show it.
Chance Fortune 28 year old face opener. Doesn't have the offensive skills to be more than a good beat up guy and time is running low for him to get some.
Aaron Andrews 21 year old enhancement heel. Probally our best prospect that isn't over yet. Has all around talent but can be a problem in the locker room if he stays out of trouble he could end up being a star.

I am booking this live and i am no expert at booking TCW as this is my first run with the promotion. They want main event matches to be 35 minutes long which isn't a problem for the champ but its a huge problem for any of the guys in line to challenge him. I am going to keep guys within their stamina and see how the fans like that. I may try letting a rematch go longer and see how that goes. I know its important to put the best show you possibly can espcially early so i am going to take the conservative approach here.

Final Rating B (why did i try that angle to end the show)
Overall its not a bad card. Rocky Golden was orginally going to put Wolf over but he didn't want to do the job I will thank him later.

week 3 January 2008 TV Show
we sent some guys to the development and brought up some to test out just cause i can't leave well enough alone. (I also clicked thru the matches so just posting the results)
darkmatch- Genghis Rahn over Davis Wayne Newton C+ (davis wayne newton is a enhancement heel who looks to be a future star)
Sammy Bach over Bulldozer Brandon Smith C
Acid over Chance Forturne (Acid is a masked vetern who is a very good wrestler but no charisma)
Wolf Hawkins over Jack Avatar B
Brent Hill over Guide C
John Anderson over Scout B-
Ricky Dale Johnson over Sam Keith B
Tommy Cornell over Rocky Golden B
some of the other names currently on the roster are the tag teams of
cameron vessey and casey valentine knows as CV2. They are young and can improve the 30 year old young guns are sent to development who knows if they will.
the candian blondes of Oscar Golden and Flash Savage along younger mostly beat up guys and darkmatches for now.
Frankie Perez 23 year old stiff brawler that the tape traders love coming in as a lower midcard face.
Erik Strong a high flier 22 year old face he may not be ready for prime time yet .
As i sent guys down to MAW they were firing guys and i like them so i rehired them. These young faces can go up against Sammy Bach for his all action title (Bulldozer was supposed to but there is a weight restriction and he was too big to qualify so i screwed up that match)
Ok so i know Cornell can fight Rocky Golden or Ricky Dale Johnson and its not doom. Now i have to get Joey Minnesota and Eddie Peak more over. The more oppents I have the better.

Our PPV is coming up in 4 days going to look over things before I book that.

FYI - the 35 minute guideline is just what the AI uses as a guide when it books TCW... You will not lose ratings/grades if you shorten the main event...
I have always had a hard time keeping TCW from falling in the first few months with them... Good luck!

Thanks for reading BigDPW, and yes I am very aware of closeness to falling to cult. Its really not the end of the world though. Being Cult is actually alot easier than being national. You can still have a tv show and ppvs. Being able to run house shows and having a development fed is something you can't do if you start your own promotion which is what i have been doing in my own games. So i have some very talented wrestlers for today a group of guys for tommorrow. Although i don't like pushing Wolf Hawkins this hard this young as his ego is going to be out of control. It will be interesting to see if how big a problem he can become. For my next update I am going with a more story telling approach which is not my strong suit but what the heck somebody may enjoy it

Sunday Week 4 January 2008 TCW Presents Malice in Wonderland
JA:Welcome folks this is Jason Azaria "the man with 1000 facts" and with me in the booth tonight will be former DAVE commentator Phil Verbert. You may not know that Phil was previously voted best commentator at totalextremewrestling.com.
PV:(looks at JA) Argh they need to start a screening process as they seem to let anybody into the Nevada State Armory.
JA:Anyway folks i hope your excited as I am about tonights matches we will have the pleasure of seeing all 4 titles up for grabs tonight
Sammy Bach will be defending his title against newcomer Jack Avatar who came up a little short against Wolf Hawkins can he rebound against the Elation Sansation?
Guide and Scout will also be challenging for the tag team straps but The Machines are looking to repeat their success they had against them earlier this month and you never know if other members of the Syndicate could get involved if push comes to shove.
Wolf Hawkins is going to his hands full with Rick Law coming off a victory over Edd Stone he looks to capture some gold.
The Main Event for the evening will be Ricky Dale Johnson going one on one against Tommy Cornell can't wait to see what happens there.
There is the beatifull Laura Huggins giving T-Shirts to some lucky fans tonight.
(C)
Aaron Andrews and Chance Fortune defeated CV2 in 6:07 when Aaron Andrews defeated Casey Valentine by pinfall with a Flying Body Press. (D)
was looking for some chemistry to get some more tag teams involved in the division.
Koshiro Ino defeated Davis Wayne Newton in 5:55 by pinfall with a Kobra's Bite. (B-) 2 good wrestlers put on a better match than i would have thought
as nobody knows who DWN is yet.

(C) The announcing quality lifted the match. The colour commentary gave the match a boost. Joel Bryant is improving in Technical skills. Robert Oxford is improving in Technical skills.
Sam Keith defeated Genghis Rahn in 7:41 by submission with a Proton Lock. (B-) seems sam can still go.

Tommy Cornell grabs a mic and procedes to berate RDJ stating he is not in his class. He never was in his class and never will be in his class. In fact there isn't a man on the planet who is in his class let alone someone in the locker room. Maybe one day somebody will be able to raise to the challenge.
Eddie Peak appears and Cornell drops the mic and head into the back looking over his should as Keith Hawkins and the Machines come out...fade to black
(B)
Overall Rating B we used Freddy Huggins too much
well on the plus side we got an A match but still only managed a B card due to using people longer than i should. I used almost everyone except for 3 faces Stevie Grayson Randall Hopkirk and Erik Strong. Maybe I need another heel. Maybe Gengis Rahn can become a monster jobber?

February week 1 tv show TCW Presents Total Wreslting
I am going against the heel/face divide in the dark matches to get everyone work. I signed Steve Flash. He is a vetern all arounder. darkmatch- edd stone, jack avatar, koshiro ino and rick law over bulldozer brandon smith, davis wayne newton, erik strong and freddy huggins (c-) Davis Wayne Newton was really off his game tonight. Laura Huggins did some good work at ringside. The announcing quality lifted the match. The colour commentary gave the match a boost. The performance of Jack Avatar stood out as being good. (D+) Sammy Bach and Frankie Perez just don't click at all, and it showed in their performances. The announcing quality lifted the match. The colour commentary gave the match a boost. Sammy Bach is improving in Technical skills.
The New Wave defeated CV2 in 5:31 when Scout defeated Casey Valentine by submission with a Special Force. (C) Guide seemed off his game tonight. The announcing quality lifted the match. The colour commentary gave the match a boost. Scout looked good out there.
The Machines defeated Chance Fortune and Stevie Grayson in 7:38 when Brent Hill defeated Stevie Grayson by pinfall with a King Of The Hill. The Machines make defence number 3 of their TCW World Tag Team titles. (C)
