On the NFL Network is the Jets preseason game against the Redskins. Just now they talk about how they had a great interview last week with Joe Namath on the game broadcast, but they found out after that is wasn't heard by anyone. SO! They are going to interview him again as he has called in.

They have now spent the last couple of minutes interviewing Namath, and you can't hear him! The game continues to play, once in a while you here them ask Joe a question, and all you hear is the stadium music and fans as plays continue to happen.

Two weeks in a row, same things, what idiots.

Doh! Someone figured it out. After 6-7 questions you can now here Joe and they just said they are asking their last question.

Damn. Wish I had caught that. I forgot the game was on... I love hearing other people make broadcasting errors. It makes me feel good. Mine tend to piss me off, however.

How was Favre? So far, all I have seen is Clemmons show why the J-E-T-S felt the need to trade for a 38 year old QB.

Favre was awesome!

And the Namath interview was freakin' great. I remember seeing that last week....to have it happen again was hilarious. Whoever is in charge of that is a dumbass.

I believe we have determined that Clemens is a douche.

See, they're assuming this was an accident. You have to assume that not being able to hear Joe was probably in his best interest.

Just finished the Namath bio. Pretty good.

I'm watching the replay of the Jets game on SNY and I noticed no problems with the Namath interview, except the fact that Namath may have had a drink or 2. Maybe Cringer had a drink or 2 as well.

Nope, not at all. Someone else said they saw it on the live version of the game so it wasn't me. They just fixed it to make me look bad, just like those bastards who program against firefox browsers.

Here is what's weird. I didn't hear it. Other people did. I have no idea how the hell that is possible.

I always visit a Jets board during games, and when the interview came on someone mentioned that Namath sounded drunk....I couldn't hear anything, and I mentioned it. Half the people could hear the interview, half heard nothing other than the occasional question.

dola

and I'm not talking about the end of the interview, because I heard the last minute or so. They heard the entire thing.

Perhaps it was either an audio channel thing (SAP, Stereo) or a difference between NFL Network and Channel 2 in NYC.

I'm pretty sure Clemens looks a lot better if players dont drop every pass he throws.. But how about Ratliff? I've seen players look good, have success or whatever, but he is nailing every throw he makes. Him and Colt Brennan are doing some good work this preseason so far.

I'm loving Ratliff right now. He's looking like something special. Poise in the pocket, strong arm, accurate...I'm definitely excited about him.

And yea, Clemens had some bad luck with the drops yesterday, and I'm not 100% done with him yet, but I don't think he'll be anything more than a career backup.

Okay...I watched the NFLN broadcast last night. Couldn't hear him.

I'm watching a replay of the CBS broadcast right now and I can hear him the whole time.

Weird how that could happen.

Maybe the NFL Network didn't want people to hear drunk Joe Namath again.
