Why do some teams seem to have more money to spend on staff than others is it related to the profit from the last year? also what happens if teams lose too much money in too many years?

1. Yes, the amount available for cap spending is in the order of how the teams did financially the previous season.
2. If firing is on and you consistently lose money, you will be fired.
