fm2008: any effects of televised matches?

i'm in Conference Premier and now just beginning to have some of my matches selected for showing on live television. what are the effects of having a match televised? Does it increase the team's reputation? Affect the player's morale? Increase revenue?

I think it increases revenue. Other than that, I am not aware of it having any more affects.

I don't have any evidence I could point to, but I thought being on television also added some more pressure on the players. Those who perform well in the spotlight will be that much better while those who are wary of big matches could wilt. But I could be remembering wrong.

Sorry don't get in here much ... hence the delay in answering.

Televised matches give you additional revenue in most cases (but not all - depends on the league/match), they also have slightly more effect on your teams reputation than a regular match (and as such can attract more people to your team or repel them depending on your performance) and also as Ajaxab indicated such matches increase the pressure on players slightly.
