Having played poker online and live in the past, I remain curious, and I see you folks post from time to time, so I thought I'd ask the question.

Where are you currently playing, and why? Also please note if you're in the U.S. or not.

I play at Full Tilt because I have rakeback there.

Pokerstars and Full Tilt are the only two sites I would play at currently. I played at Cake Poker for awhile and ended up getting some money "stuck" there when ePassporte was shut down, and getting it out was a rather frustrating ordeal.

I'm in the US.

When I play, it's on Poker Stars. But I rarely play anymore. (And yes, I am in the US)

What's the easiest place to get money into? I was thinking playing a little bit as its hard to find a cash game these days

I'm playing regularly on PokerStars. Getting money off there is painless and fast. I couldn't tell you how to get money on there though, as I haven't deposited in a year.

I know that Full Tilt recently had some problems with US players getting money withdraws, not sure if that is completely sorted out yet.

I wouldn't play on Absolute or Ultimate Bet, as they recently had some scandals/cheating. Not sure about the other sites.

I play mostly on Doyle's Room, getting money in was very easy. Its sometimes a little bit low traffic, but I like the software.

I play at Stars because I am mad at Full Tilt for some reason I cant remember anymore its been so long but I can hold a grudge well. I am sure it had something to do with their shoddy customer service.

Rarely play anymore. Just lost interest eventually. Now I get the urge a few times a month, fire up a game, and I'm surfing the web within five minutes and not paying attention.

The lack of focus means I don't win as much money, which means I get even less interested, etc., etc.

I mention to myself that I would like to play again. But if I did, I would want to make money. I am just not that good and I would have to go through a learning curve again. Also the lack of good bonuses and the ease of using Neteller to move money in between sites really turned me off as well.

I am in the US.

I'm in the US and play on starts almost everyday.

I play there because I win, it's esy to get oney out and am familiar with it. Plust they have a great variety of tournaments and you can win alot for a minimal risk. I just finished 14th in the $10 rebuy, had I won ) I busted on a 2 outer on the river) first was 13K, 2nd 10K and 3 7K. I still won about $500, not bad for a $30 inverstment. I love the rebuy tournies there.

Cronin how are the games there and what's the max tables you can play?

The games are pretty soft, imo - softer than stars for sure. I don't know if there's a max, I have played 3 tables at a time. There's not a ton of traffic, so you probably won't find 10 or more tables to play at once, unless you're playing different blind levels. There aren't many tournaments, and the ones they have are pretty confusing.

Online poker is rigged.

do you honestly think that?

I ask because I had a nice tournament win then went on an insanly horrible cash game run where I was on the losing end of set over set 4 times in 2 days.

Sounds pretty rough, but swings happen. Now that I'm starting to invest more time to cash games, I am gaining more appreciation for something I've heard a lot ; at some point you will run worse than you ever thought possible, and then some.

By the way, if anybody does get around to depositing in Doyle's Room, I think I get some kind of bonus if you use me as a reference - stcronin.

I play 4-6 hours a week on PokerStars. Usually play the .02/.05 or .05/.10 NL games. I usually win between $20-40 a week. Certainly not a second job by any means, but it's a lot of fun.

I know that. I have been making most of my money the past few years playing cards and havent worked in a year.

IT was just really, really brutal.

I used to get rakeback for playing at Doyle's Room, but my account got shut down when the UIGEA was signed into law. I guess I should check back and see what is going on there, and if I'm able to resume play under my old account.
